Donald Trump and Kamala Harris barely finished their debate before the next set of battlelines got drawn.

This time it was Kamala Harris who thought she had the upper hand.

And Donald Trump shut down one fight with Kamala Harris with this simple answer.

Kamala Harris’ team challenges Donald Trump to a second debate

Both Trump and Kamala Harris scarcely exited the debate stage when Kamala Harris’ handlers put out a challenge for a second debate sometime in October.

“Under the bright lights, the American people got to see the choice they will face this fall at the ballot box: between moving forward with Kamala Harris, or going backwards with Trump,” Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon’s statement read.

O’Malley claimed victory for Kamala Harris and dared Trump to show up for a second debate.

“That’s what they saw tonight and what they should see at a second debate in October. Vice President Harris is ready for a second debate. Is Donald Trump?” O’Malley added.

CNN’s post-debate poll showed Kamala Harris had significant ground to make up with voters.

The poll showed Trump leading Kamala Harris by 23 points on immigration, 20 points on the economy, and six points on being Commander-in-Chief.

Kamala Harris’ team clearly thought those numbers were more indicative of where the race stood after the debate than the CNN poll saying 63 percent judged her the winner compared to 37 percent who said Trump.

Trump hinted in an interview with Fox & Friends that a second debate didn’t interest him.

“Well, I’d be less inclined to because we had a great night. We won the debate. We had a terrible, terrible network. I think they were terrible. They should be embarrassed. I mean, they kept correcting me and I said what I said was largely right or I hope it was right,” Trump began.

Trump argued that another debate would just be a repeat of the ABC encounter where moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis treated it like a hockey game by joining Kamala Harris to create power play situations where the Democrats had more skaters on the ice to gang up on Trump.

“But what they said was absolutely wrong. The other you know what what she said. And they refused to. Correct. I even complained a couple of times. Why aren’t you correcting them? Look, they should have corrected 6 or 7 times. She told an outright lie. Another one is Project 2025. They know it has nothing to do with me,” Trump added.

Trump ripped Muir and Davis for fact-checking him but letting Kamala Harris lie uninterrupted about the “very fine people” hoax, Project 2025, the unemployment rate, and supporting transgender surgeries for illegal aliens in prisons.

“She mentioned it all night long and they refused to correct it. And everybody, you know, I haven’t I have nothing to do with Project 2020. I would just say one thing, but I am not inclined to do it because I won the debate by a lot. But I think we let it settle in and let’s see what happen,” Trump concluded.

Trump later confirmed on Truth Social that he wouldn’t debate Kamala Harris again.

Being a big fan of boxing and UFC, Trump compared Kamala Harris demanding a second debate to how the losing fighter is always the one agitating for a rematch.

“In the World of Boxing or UFC, when a Fighter gets beaten or knocked out, they get up and scream, ‘I DEMAND A REMATCH, I DEMAND A REMATCH!’ Well, it’s no different with a Debate. She was beaten badly last night. Every Poll has us WINNING, in one case, 92-8, so why would I do a Rematch?” Trump wrote.
