Donald Trump said the one thing that just shook the entire Republican establishment

Mitch McConnell and his establishment GOP cronies in the Senate are set to begin the second impeachment trial for Donald Trump very soon.

The establishment views this as the moment they can finally rid the GOP of President Trump.

But as McConnell prepares for the upcoming impeachment trial, Trump has indicated he has something up his sleeve that could shock everyone.

In a Senate floor speech last week, McConnell dropped his biggest hint yet that he intends to vote to convict the President on the Dems articles of impeachment.

In the speech, McConnell blames the President for the riot at the Capitol.

McConnell stated, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the President and other powerful people, and they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like.”

In an exclusive report from The Wall Street Journal, Trump made it clear that he could easily leverage his supporters’ loyalty as payback if the GOP moved to impeach him.

The Wall Street Journal report stated, “President Trump has talked in recent days with associates about forming a new political party, according to people familiar with the matter, an effort to exert continued influence after he leaves the White House.

“Mr. Trump discussed the matter with several aides and other people close to him last week, the people said. The President said he would want to call the new party the “Patriot Party,” the people said.”

If Donald Trump forms his own political movement and leads even just a portion of the 74 million Americans away from the establishment GOP, Republicans would never win an election again.

McConnell is attempting to intimidate Trump with an implied threat to vote to convict the President on the Dems’ articles of impeachment.

McConnell should really know better.

In true Donald Trump fashion, he fired back, making sure McConnell understands that he will always come out on top in a popularity contest with the Republican base.
