Donald Trump blasts Kamala Harris for helping free rapists and murders
Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), traveled to Saint Cloud, Minnesota for a rally.
No Republican Presidential candidate has won Minnesota since 1972, but the Trump campaign is hoping to put the state in play.
Trump came out swinging at Harris during the rally for her support of a controversial bail fund during the rioting in Minneapolis after George Floyd’s death.
“I sent in the National Guard to save Minneapolis, while Kamala Harris sided with arsonists and rioters and raised money to bail out the criminals,” Trump told the crowd.
“Kamala urged her followers to donate to the so-called Minnesota Freedom Fund, helping raise $35 million dollars to set loose violent offenders after they shot at police, looted stores, sexually assaulted innocent victims, and committed other heinous crimes,” Trump said.
Minneapolis was burned and looted by Black Lives Matter rioters for two weeks in late May 2020.
The Minnesota Freedom Fund is a bail fund set up by radical leftists to spring criminals who are awaiting trial.
Then-Senator Kamala Harris put a post on social media that urged followers to contribute to the fund on social media in June 2020.
“If you’re able to, chip in now to the [Minnesota Freedom Fund] to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” Harris wrote.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund was able to raise $35 million with the backing of high-profile supporters like Harris.
Harris helped raise millions of dollars that helped free dangerous criminals who went on to commit more crimes.
Fox News reported the “fund spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to free an alleged knife murderer and a convicted rapist who was facing charges of sexual assault and kidnapping, among others.”

The Minnesota Freedom Fund founder admitted that he often doesn’t look at the charges of the criminals he bails out.
Shawn Michael Tillman was a career criminal that the fund bailed out who went on to murder a man in 2022 on the platform of a light rail stop.
The fund paid the bail of George Howard in 2021 when he was charged with domestic violence.
Howard went on to murder someone in a road rage incident in 2022.
Christopher Boswell is a twice-convicted rapist who was bailed out and was charged with kidnapping, assault, and sexual assault after he was freed.
Former Minnesota Freedom Fund Director Greg Lewin said in 2020 that he was fighting the system.
“I often don’t even look at a charge when I bail someone out,” Lewin said. “I will see it after I pay the bill because it is not the point. The point is the system we are fighting.”
And Lewin admitted the officials complained about the number of sex offenders he freed.
“The last time we were down there, the clerk said, ‘We hate it when you bail out these sex offenders, that is what they said’,” Lewin added.
Donald Trump’s campaign is going to shine a spotlight on the pro-criminal and pro-crime policies that Kamala Harris championed.
