The Supreme Court just handed America's enemies a multi-trillion dollar gift.
Now the man who appointed three of the justices is making sure everyone knows it.
Donald Trump just publicly torched the court he built – and then he named the price tag.
Trump's Own Appointees Sided With China and the Open Border Lobby
Wednesday evening, Trump posted the question every conservative has been asking for months.
"Does anybody have any idea how much Money and Prestige the United States Supreme Court has cost our Nation with their negative Rulings on Birthright Citizenship and TARIFFS?" he wrote. "The answer, TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS!"
He's not wrong.
In February, Chief Justice John Roberts led a 6-3 majority to gut Trump's emergency tariff authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
The ruling was so devastating that U.S. Customs and Border Protection was forced to issue $104.29 billion in refunds to importers by June 29 alone.
That's $104 billion gone – handed back to the same trading partners who've been ripping us off for decades.

Then came the birthright citizenship blow.
On June 30, Roberts struck down Trump's Day One executive order restricting automatic citizenship for babies born to illegal immigrants and visa overstays.
The Fourteenth Amendment, Roberts wrote, guarantees citizenship to virtually everyone born on American soil.
Amy Coney Barrett – Trump's own appointee – joined the liberal bloc both times.
Trump Pledged Rehearing. The DOJ Just Let the Deadline Die.
Here's where it gets worse.
After the birthright citizenship ruling, Trump went back to Truth Social with a promise: "I will be asking for a Rehearing by the United States Supreme Court, IMMEDIATELY."
"This miscarriage of justice will destroy America if they don't change their absolutely insane decision," he wrote.
The deadline was Tuesday.
The Justice Department never filed.
The Supreme Court hasn't granted a rehearing on any case since Reid v. Covert in 1956.

But the DOJ didn't even try.
Meanwhile, the birth tourism industry is already capitalizing on the ruling.
Trump posted that billboards are appearing along the Southern border and inside Mexico advertising hospital delivery packages for $4,000 – citizenship sold on the open market, courtesy of the Roberts Court.
Trump's Congressional Army Is Already Moving
Congressional Republicans aren't waiting for the DOJ to find its spine.
Sen. Tim Scott is pushing legislation to end birth tourism by stripping citizenship from babies born to women on tourist visas.
Rep. Andy Ogles unveiled the "Anchors Away Act" – a bill that would restrict citizenship to children born to citizens, lawful permanent residents, or military members on active duty.
Rep. Brian Babin's bill would redefine what it means to be "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States – the exact constitutional language Roberts twisted to gut Trump's order.
Speaker Mike Johnson told Fox News his conference is "looking at all angles" to fight back legislatively.
The legislation gives Trump a second front – and keeps Republican voters focused on the fight while the DOJ figures out what it's doing.

He gutted Trump's tariffs in February and his birthright citizenship order in June.
These were the two biggest tools Trump had to protect American workers and American sovereignty – and both times decided his reading of the Constitution outranks the elected president's.
What he actually did was give Beijing leverage on trade and hand the open border lobby a permanent constitutional shield.
Trump built that court, spent three nominations on it, and this is what he got.
That's not a court doing its job.
That's one man in a black robe deciding he runs the country.
