Donald Trump Just Asked One Question About the Great American State Fair That Democrats Cannot Answer

Obama's idea of a July Fourth celebration was a South Lawn barbecue for 1,200 people.

Trump just turned the entire National Mall into a 16-block World's Fair.

This week he asked Democrats one question – and not one of them can answer it.

What Trump Said on Truth Social

"Do you think people appreciate what a fantastic job we did in building and operating the Great American State Fair at the National Mall, packed with happy people, and everybody loving it?" he wrote on Truth Social.

Then he dropped the hammer.

"Ask yourself this simple question, 'DO YOU THINK THAT OBUMA OR SLEEPY JOE BIDEN COULD HAVE DONE IT?' THE ANSWER IS NO!"

He's right.

Biden watched the fireworks from the White House balcony.

That's the difference between two presidents who treated Independence Day as a photo op and one who turned the heart of the nation's capital into a 16-day national exposition.

What's Actually Happening on the National Mall Right Now

The Great American State Fair runs June 25 through July 10 – stretching from the U.S. Capitol down to the Washington Monument.

All 56 states and territories are represented.

Over 150 exhibits, daily themed programming, military flyovers, rodeo demonstrations, live concerts, and a Smithsonian carousel fill the grounds alongside that iconic 110-foot Ferris wheel.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum has promised the "greatest and biggest celebration of fireworks ever" for July 4.

Trump announced the fireworks will be roughly ten times larger than anything this country has seen – 850,000 shells fired simultaneously from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, eight Potomac River barges, and West Potomac Park.

The Marine Band plays daily.

Every day carries its own theme – Military and Veterans Appreciation Day, Faith Values and Inspiration, Horsepower of America, culminating in the Independence Day Celebration on the Fourth.

Democrats Boycotted a Birthday Party for America

Seven Democrat-run states refused to send official delegations.

Oregon's governor Tina Kotek said her state wouldn't participate, citing cost concerns and what her office called the increasingly partisan nature of the event.

Think about that.

Celebrating 250 years of American independence – with state pavilions, rodeos, military bands, and fireworks – is apparently too partisan for Democrat governors.

These are the same people who spent years telling you America was systemically racist and needed to be fundamentally transformed.

Of course they don't want to celebrate it.

When musicians threatened to walk out of the opening concert over the event's politics, Trump didn't grovel.

He turned opening night into the "America is Back" rally – and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy made sure everyone knew exactly who had canceled on America.

The Democrats thought they could sabotage this thing.

Instead they handed Trump the headline.

Obama Planned Block Parties – Trump Built a World's Fair

Congress created a nonpartisan commission back in 2015 to plan the 250th anniversary celebrations.

Trump looked at what they had in mind and decided America deserved something bigger.

He signed an executive order creating Freedom 250 – a White House-backed public-private partnership that put together the Great American State Fair, a UFC fight on the White House lawn, a tall ships event on the East Coast, and an IndyCar race around the National Mall in August.

The old commission's signature idea was coordinated neighborhood block parties across the country.

Trump built a World's Fair.

The media has fixated on modest opening-week crowds, ignoring that every major fair builds toward its headline weekend – and the Fourth of July is five days away.

Democrats can skip the party.

They can call it partisan.

They can complain about the Ferris wheel blocking their view of the Washington Monument.

What they cannot do is explain why they'd rather sit it out than celebrate the country they want to run.
