At Tuesday's 12th Cabinet meeting – the one Biden would have never let cameras near – Trump opened with a number that stopped the room.
The murder rate in 2025 dropped to its lowest level in 125 years.

Preliminary data compiled from more than 550 law enforcement agencies shows murders fell roughly 20% compared to 2024 – a drop that crime analysts say has never been recorded in a single year in American history.
New York City logged its fewest gun violence incidents on record.

Chicago – the city Democrats used to excuse as ungovernable – saw murders drop 28%.
Washington, D.C., where Trump moved in and immediately started cracking down, dropped nearly 28%.
Cities like Baltimore, Detroit, and Philadelphia posted homicide totals not seen since the 1960s.
What Biden Left Behind
Here's what the media won't connect for you.
When Trump stood at that podium and said his administration is still hunting down the remaining violent criminals Biden let in, he wasn't exaggerating for effect.
ICE data showed that as of mid-2024, there were 11,888 convicted murderers – illegal aliens – loose in the United States.
Not detained.
Not deported.
Living in your country on Biden's watch.
Trump said it plainly at Tuesday's Cabinet meeting: "Over 11,888 murders were allowed into a country. We've gotten a lot of them out."
He added that over half had committed more than one murder.
DHS confirmed that under Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem, more than 670,000 illegal aliens have been removed from American communities – murderers, pedophiles, rapists, and gang members among them.
Another two million self-deported rather than wait to be caught.
In 2025 alone, ICE arrested over 600 members of Tren de Aragua – the Venezuelan gang operating in American cities while Biden's DHS looked the other way.
ICE named their year-end enforcement recap what it was: arresting child rapists, domestic abusers, and drug traffickers – the people Democrats insisted weren't a real problem.
They Told You Closing the Border Would Not Save Lives
Close the border, deport the criminals, flood Democrat cities with federal agents – and the murder rate doesn't just drop, it hits a 125-year low.
That's not a political talking point anymore.
That's the result.
Every expert who told you immigration enforcement and crime were separate issues owes 12,000 families an explanation – because that's roughly how many fewer Americans were murdered in 2024 and 2025 combined compared to the Biden-era peak.
Every prosecutor who handed a convicted illegal alien a plea deal instead of a deportation owns a piece of that number.
Every Democrat mayor who declared their city a sanctuary – who ordered police to stand down from ICE cooperation – they own a piece of it too.
Trump didn't just reverse a trend.
He proved a theory.
Secure the border, remove the predators, back your law enforcement – and Americans stop dying at rates this country hasn't seen since Teddy Roosevelt was in the White House.
The question now is whether Democrats learned anything.
They didn't.
