Donald Trump is putting together his second-term team.
Trump just set off a bomb in Washington, D.C.
And Donald Trump gave Tulsi Gabbard one mission that struck terror in the Deep State.
Donald Trump nominates Tulsi Gabbard to serve as Director of National Intelligence
In Donald Trump’s first term, the intelligence community sought to stymie the will of the people and undermine the Trump administration.
Trump admitted in this campaign he made several errors in staffing the intelligence agencies because he was new to politics and didn’t know the key players.
In the first term, Trump named establishment Republican Dan Coates as his Director of National Intelligence.
Coates proved to be a Swamp loyalist who runs around still spouting off about the Russia collusion hoax to this day.
This time is different.
Trump wants to chop the Deep State down to size and had four years to figure out who he could trust.
And Trump knows who he wants running the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Trump nominated former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard to the position.
Gabbard served with distinction in the Iraq War as a member of the U.S. Army.
Gabbard also believes strongly in an America First foreign policy and is a frequent guest on Fox News where she regularly articulates Donald Trump’s opposition to the war in Ukraine and as well as the desire to end forever wars around the globe.
Trump praised Gabbard as an example of how he grew his coalition by attracting a broad spectrum of Americans to the MAGA movement.
“As a former Candidate for the Democrat Presidential Nomination, she has broad support in both Parties – She is now a proud Republican! I know Tulsi will bring the fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our Intelligence Community, championing our Constitutional Rights, and securing Peace through Strength. Tulsi will make us all proud!” a statement from Trump announcing the nomination read.
Gabbard accepted the assignment with pride.
“Thank you, [Trump], for the opportunity to serve as a member of your cabinet to defend the safety, security, and freedom of the American people. I look forward to getting to work,” Gabbard wrote on social media.
Gabbard was a victim of the weaponized government
Like Donald Trump, Kamala Harris’ weaponized intelligence community targeted Gabbard.
Gabbard revealed that one day after she criticized Kamala Harris’ ascension to the Democrat Party nomination, the TSA put her on a terrorist watch list and harassed her at the airport.
“Just before boarding a flight on July 23, my husband and I were pulled aside for additional TSA screening,” Gabbard recounted in a video posted to social media. “We were told by the TSA agent there that this was just a random selection. Now, that might have been believable if it had happened just once or twice. But five, six, seven, eight times in a row? There’s no way.”
Gabbard explained the whistleblowers came forward with the blockbuster information that the Biden-Harris administration placed Gabbard on the Quiet Skies program watch list, which is supposed to identify high-risk passengers for additional screening.
“Federal air marshal whistleblowers came forward with very disturbing information,” Gabbard added. “They revealed that I had been added to a secret terror watchlist run by the TSA called Quiet Skies on July 23. This is the very same day my husband and I began to be subjected to those in-depth TSA searches.”
“The TSA placed me on the Quiet Skies domestic terror watchlist in what I can only describe as the ultimate betrayal,” Gabbard concluded. “The Harris-Biden regime has now labeled me a domestic terror threat. Why? They see me as a threat to their power.”
If confirmed, Gabbard will prepare President Trump’s daily intelligence briefings.
But her number one job may be chopping the weaponized Deep State down to size.
