Donald Trump doubled down on his attacks on Joe Biden with this one truth about his biggest failure so far

Joe Biden has had a rough going the past week.

His administration has become the laughing stock of the world for its failures in Afghanistan.

But now Donald Trump doubled down on his attacks on Joe Biden with this one truth about his biggest failure so far.

Everyone knew the day would come when the United States would eliminate its presence in Afghanistan after spending trillions of taxpayer dollars and precious American lives in the nations’ longest war effort.

But no one thought it could have been fumbled as poorly as President Joe Biden fumbled it.

His administration has been laughed at by all corners of the political spectrum, and rightfully so.

Biden’s hasty exit left thousands of American citizens unprotected and billions of dollars worth of military property behind for the taking by the Taliban.

And now former President Donald Trump has chimed in on the latest Biden blunder saying he’s left American citizens as “lamb being led to slaughter.”

The New York Post reports:

Former President Donald Trump slammed the Biden administration’s bungling of the Afghanistan evacuation as a “lamb being led to slaughter” because US troops were withdrawn from the country first, leaving American citizens at the mercy of the Taliban.

“You had to get the people out of there. Can you imagine having your military go home and leaving all those people. That’s called the lamb being led to slaughter,” Trump said Wednesday on Fox Business.

The 45th President added that there’s “never been a worse withdraw” and that “there’s never been a more stupid group of people doing a withdraw.”

Ouch.

You know Biden is in trouble when even his political allies are agreeing with Donald Trump of all people.

Donald Trump didn’t stop there, though.

He continued saying that Biden’s failures make Jimmy Carter’s awful handling of the Iran hostage crisis look like a “peanut” because of the 40,000 Americans who are now effectively hostages of the violent radical Muslim Taliban in Afghanistan.

The horrendous exit from Afghanistan by the Biden administration has left some to question Biden’s fitness to serve as President of the United States.

Others have begun to call for his impeachment, calling his actions treason arguing that it fits well within the definition of treason layed out in the U.S. Constitution.

The Constitution limits treason to only two types of conduct.

Levying war against the United States or “adhering” to enemies of the United States by giving them aid or comfort.

It could be argued that Biden easily gave comfort to the Taliban, who have been enemies of the United States for the past 20 years.

The reality is there’s a much better argument for Biden to be impeached over this than there was for Trump to be impeached for trumped up charges of “obstruction” of justice.

Regardless, Trump piling on is certainly politically painful for Democrats and the administration.

And for Biden, it couldn’t have come at a worse time.
