First Lady Jill Biden made an appearance at the NFC Championship game in Philadelphia between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
The First Lady, who grew up in suburban Philadelphia, was there cheering on the Eagles without her husband, the President.
The game was better for Biden than her last visit to a Philadelphia Eagles game, where she was unmercifully booed by the fans when she participated in the pregame coin toss.
During the game, the Fox broadcast crew panned on a luxury suite with Jill Biden and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
The television network’s graphics labeled her as, “Dr. Jill Biden — First Lady of the United States.”
The announcer also referred to the First Lady as “Dr. Jill Biden.”
The media is on a relentless campaign to make sure that the title “Dr.” is affixed to Jill’s name despite the fact she’s not a medical doctor.
Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly ripped Jill Biden and the absurd push to label her as a doctor on social media.
“Announcers for this Eagles-49ers game just spotted the First Lady in a box and of course call her ‘Dr. Jill Biden.’ Wonder if she realizes what a wannabe she looks like insisting on this fake title,” Kelly wrote on social media. “Get a real MD or just work on your self-esteem.”
Jill Biden earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) from the University of Delaware and worked as a community college professor.
The First Lady doesn’t even have a traditional PhD and the Left is still demanding that she be referred to as a doctor.
Kelly created a firestorm on social media from fuming Democrats for pointing out the truth about the ridiculous push for the “Dr. Jill Biden” title.
Angry liberals lashed out at Kelly with many incorrectly claiming that the First Lady has a PhD, which requires more work than her EdD.
Pointing to the absurdity of Jill Biden calling herself a “doctor” cost Northwestern University lecturer Joseph Epstein his job.
In an editorial in the Wall Street Journal, Epstein told the First Lady to stop calling herself a doctor, “which feels fraudulent, even comic.”
The university promptly dumped him as a lecturer after the editorial.
The Left’s demand that Jill Biden be referred to as a doctor flies in the face of normal journalist practices.
The media normally only refers to someone as a doctor when they have a medical degree.
“My feeling is if you can’t heal the sick, we don’t call you doctor,” said Bill Walsh, copy desk chief for the Washington Post’s A section and the author of two language books.
Jill Biden and Democrats are embarrassing themselves with the laughable campaign to label the First Lady as a doctor.
