Polls show illegal immigration and the economy are the top two issues facing voters this fall.
But skyrocketing crime rates in Democrat-run cities are becoming a top issue for many Americans.
And Democrats were fuming when Judge Judy revealed this disturbing truth about Soros-backed prosecutors.
The Left declared war on law enforcement officers after the death of George Floyd in 2020.
Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) rallied behind the cause of defunding the police and even shutting down entire departments in some areas.
But defunding the police is not the only way Democrats waged war on America’s criminal justice system.
George Soros also bankrolled the campaigns of pro-crime prosecutors in states and cities all across the country.
These Soros-backed prosecutors implemented policies like no-cash bail that put criminals right back on the streets instead of holding them until their trial.
The Democrats’ war on police combined with pro-criminal policies from Soros-backed prosecutors have sent crime rates through the roof in major cities like New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Chicago.
According to Fox News, “crime in the New York transit system is up roughly 7% in 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.”
Misdemeanor assaults also increased 7% in the first few months of 2024.
In the nation’s Capital, robberies were up 67%, and overall violent crime went up 39% in 2023, while carjackings skyrocketed by a staggering 97.9%, compared to the previous year.
And one famous TV Judge just pointed out the reason crime is surging in Democrat-run cities.
Judge Judy Sheindlin starred on the hit show Judge Judy for 25 years and currently stars on Amazon Freeverse’s Judy Justice.
During an interview with Fox News, Sheindlin did not hold back her thoughts on the skyrocketing crime rates in America.
“Oh, I know how we got here,” Sheindlin said. “When society started to make excuses for bad behavior, and react to criminality based upon the excuses, it fell apart.”
She ripped Soros-backed prosecutors for not holding criminals responsible for their actions.
“And if you’re 17 years old and kill somebody, you don’t belong with kids who are 12, in a juvenile facility,” she said. “But a very small group of people pushed through in New York State, for instance, raising the level of criminal responsibility.”
She called New York’s decision to raise the age for criminal responsibility to 18 “ridiculous.”
“If you have family, if you have a mother who’s 65 years old who’s walking to the grocery store and some crazy for no reason hits her over the head with a steel pipe and kills her, and they’re 17, that person should never be allowed to walk the street again, because society can’t take a chance,” she said.
She then directly called out the District Attorneys put in office by George Soros.
“When you have District Attorneys who are charged, whose job it is to do justice, but to keep the community safe, when you have elected district attorneys who don’t know what their job is, they should go find another job,” she said. “Fill ice cream cones someplace, but don’t ruin cities.”
“And what’s happened around New York City, Portland, San Francisco, you had district attorneys who didn’t know what their job was,” Sheindlin said. “And the cities are ruined, people are leaving.”
“I think we better get smarter before we get lost,” she added. “Permanently lost.”
Judge Judy gained fame in large part for her refusal to hold back during the verdicts she handed down on her popular hit show.
