Two Americans died in Minneapolis when anti-ICE protesters put themselves in front of federal officers doing their jobs.
Democrats called it a massacre and spent the next 70 days shutting down the Department of Homeland Security to punish ICE.
Now Harvard-Harris just polled the American people – and the verdict is brutal.
56 Percent of Americans Want Them All Gone
The Harvard-Harris poll surveyed 1,725 registered voters between May 29 and 30.
Fifty-six percent said they support deporting all illegal immigrants – not just criminals, not just recent arrivals, all of them.
That number includes 77 percent of Republicans.
It includes 53 percent of Independents.

And it includes 37 percent of Democrats – more than one in three members of their own party.
Democrats in Washington spent months calling ICE agents terrorists, staging protests outside detention facilities, and physically blocking federal officers from doing their jobs.
Thirty-seven percent of their own voters just told Harvard-Harris that was all wrong.
The Criminal Deportation Numbers Are Even Worse for Democrats
When Harvard-Harris asked specifically about deporting illegal immigrants who committed additional crimes inside the United States, the results weren't close.
Eighty percent of all registered voters said yes.
Ninety percent of Republicans said yes.
Seventy-seven percent of Independents said yes.
And 71 percent of Democrats said yes – up from 63 percent just one month earlier in April.
Support for deporting criminal illegal immigrants jumped eight points among Democrats in a single month.
That is what happens when your party's leadership spends weeks screaming "abolish ICE" while their own voters are watching the news.
Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana said it plainly in an op-ed for Fox News: Democrats shut down DHS because they were afraid of their own voters – specifically the radical wing that hates American immigration laws and wants criminal illegal aliens to walk free while ICE officers rot in jail.

The poll proves Kennedy right.
The ICE Hiring Number Tells the Rest of the Story
The one number that should terrify every Democrat running in 2026 is the ICE hiring question.
Support for hiring 20,000 additional border patrol and ICE agents came in at just 47 percent overall – the second-lowest result in the entire survey.
Democrats landed at 22 percent.
That number didn't happen by accident.
For over a year, Democratic politicians staged protests outside ICE facilities, compared deportation operations to Japanese internment, and demanded Congress defund the agency entirely.
House Republicans warned publicly in July 2025 that Democratic anti-ICE rhetoric was driving violent attacks on agents – ambushes in Texas, riots at the Portland facility, violent mobs in Los Angeles and New York City.
An ICE special agent told Fox News the situations were becoming dangerous, describing protesters yelling and screaming at officers during active operations.
Democrats turned ICE agents into villains.
Twenty-two percent support from their own voters is the result.
The Disconnect That Should Define 2026

Trump's approval rating sits at 43 percent in the same poll.
But 17 of the 21 Trump policies tested received majority support – including immigration enforcement from voters across party lines.
Voters haven't turned against Trump's agenda.
They've absorbed months of Iran war coverage, Epstein file battles, and economic anxiety into their overall approval number – and the immigration numbers underneath tell a completely different story.
Fifty-three percent of Independents want all illegal immigrants deported.
Democrats spent a year telling those same Independents that wanting deportations made them dangerous.
The Harvard-Harris numbers say Independents didn't buy it.
They tried to "defund the police" in 2020 and spent two election cycles paying for it.
Now they've handed Trump the exact same card on immigration – and unlike 2020, they did it while the poll numbers were already screaming at them to stop.
They're going to find out what that means in November.
