Democrats spent nearly $2 billion losing to Donald Trump in 2024.
Now a brand new poll just revealed who they want to run in 2028.
Democrats just revealed their 2028 plan – and it is Kamala Harris all over again.
Vance Sits Alone at the Top
The Honest Poll survey tells two completely different stories about 2028 – one for each party.
On the Republican side, JD Vance pulls 41 percent.
His closest competitor is not Marco Rubio.
It is Donald Trump Jr., sitting at 22 percent.
Rubio checks in at 17 percent.
Ron DeSantis gets 7 percent.
Ted Cruz and Nikki Haley are tied at 2 percent each.

That is not a primary race.
That is a coronation in slow motion.
CNN's own Harry Enten called what Vance is doing "historic" – noting he is the first non-sitting president since 1980 to crack 50 percent in early New Hampshire Republican primary polling.
The University of New Hampshire Granite State poll had him at 51 percent among likely GOP primary voters, with his nearest rivals buried in single digits.
CPAC gave him 61 percent.
Emerson had him at 46. McLaughlin & Associates shows him leading every major demographic group in the party.
The prediction markets have him at 48 percent odds of being the nominee, with no other Republican breaking 15 percent.
He is not just lapping the field.
He is in a different race entirely.
Democrats Are Stuck With the Woman Who Already Lost
The Democrat numbers tell a very different story – and it is almost too good to be true.
Kamala Harris leads the Democrat pack at 32 percent in the Honest Poll survey.
Gavin Newsom follows at 21 percent.
Pete Buttigieg sits at 13 percent.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pulls 9 percent.
Jon Ossoff gets 6 percent.
Josh Shapiro brings up the rear at 5 percent.
Here is what that list actually means.
Harris burned through $1.5 billion, had every corporate media outlet in America carrying her water, and still lost every single battleground state.
She went on The View and was asked if she would have done anything differently than Biden.
Her answer: "There is not a thing that comes to mind." That one sentence tells you everything about why she lost and why she will lose again.
And yet Democrats want to run her back out there.
Gavin Newsom is already telling people he will not run if Harris does.
Think about what that means.

Newsom – the man who spent two years positioning himself as the face of Democrat resistance, the man who debated JD Vance on national television – does not want to go one-on-one with a woman who already lost a presidential election.
That is not strategic patience.
That is a grown man admitting he does not want the fight.
Buttigieg got fired.
Voters watched him fumble the East Palestine train derailment and the air traffic crisis and decided he was not ready.
Now he is polling third for the Democrat nomination.
AOC at 9 percent is the only candidate on that list with any real energy behind her.
She would lose 45 states.
As for Josh Shapiro – Democrats are not nominating a Jewish candidate in 2028.
The same antisemitic faction that has taken over their campus chapters and their protest movements has now taken over their base.
That is not speculation.
That is arithmetic.
The Gap Is Only Going to Widen
The broader poll numbers reflect the damage from the ongoing Iran conflict.
Trump's approval sits at 43 percent among registered voters and 45 percent among likely voters.
Republicans trail by nine to ten points on the generic congressional ballot ahead of November's midterms.
Those numbers will matter in November.
They do not change what 2028 looks like.
George H.W. Bush inherited the vice presidency and won the nomination in 1988.
Al Gore did the same in 2000.
Mike Pence was the lone exception – and that was because he had actively betrayed his own base.
Vance has not betrayed anyone.
He has been the most effective America First advocate in this administration, sharper and tougher than most, and more trusted by the base than anyone except Trump himself.

The Left keeps underestimating him.
They laughed at his couch jokes.
They mocked his debate performance before he showed up and dominated.
They told themselves he would fade.
Every single time, they were wrong.
Do not make the same mistake they are making. J
D Vance is going to be the 2028 Republican nominee.
And he is going to face Kamala Harris or someone even weaker.
That is not a prediction.
That is a look at two parties in two completely different places.
