If Democrats win the Presidency and maintain their Senate Majority, controlling the House would allow Kamala Harris to nuke the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court.
Democrats know they are on the verge of turning America into a one-party socialist state and are pulling out all the stops to do so.
A shadowy group called Patriots Run Project began running ads on social media recruiting Trump supporters to run as independent candidates in swing seat races with GOP incumbents.
“For many of these recruits, the process began on Facebook, where the Patriots Run Project ran a series of pro-Trump pages and ads, urging ‘American Patriots’ to run for office and reclaim control from ‘globalist elites.’ Some, like Wiederien, were contacted directly because of their political posts. The AP review found that others filled out online surveys before being approached by the group,” Newsweek reports.
Newsweek reported the group targeted races in states across the country.
“In addition to two races in Iowa, the group recruited candidates from Nebraska, Montana, Virginia and Minnesota. The review also found that all six recruits described themselves as retired, disabled, or both,” Newsweek also reported.
But the Patriots Run Project kept its true purpose hidden from the Trump supporters it recruited.
That was the fact that it was really a Democrat Party front group seeking to enter spoilers into close races to drain votes from GOP incumbents and elect Democrats.
The plan in motion
One of the recruits was a Trump supporter In Iowa’s Third Congressional District named Joseph Wiederien.
“Among those recruits is Joseph Wiederien, a Trump supporter from Iowa who spoke to the AP and revealed that while he was registered as a Republican until only a few months ago, he arrived last month at the Iowa Capitol with well over the 1,726 petition signatures needed to qualify for the ballot as a conservative and independent alternative to first-term Republican Representative Zach Nun,” Newsweek reported.
A company with ties to the Democrat aligned consulting firm Sole Strategies helped get Wiederien on the ballot.
“According to the AP review, Wiederien’s petition signatures were gathered by Common Sense America, a Nevada limited liability company created in February. A company disclosure filing in Colorado, which requires signature gatherers to register, lists a phone number for a co-founder of the Democratic consulting firm Sole Strategies,” Newsweek also reported.
Nun defeated Democrat incumbent Cindy Axne by just 2,500 votes out of 310,913 cast.
Wiederien – who suffered a stroke and can’t drive – realized he got duped by a Democrat-aligned group and dropped out of the race.
“At that time I was thinking, well, it would be nice to be in Congress and get to work with President Trump,” Wiederien told the Associated Press. “It looks like it’s a dirty trick now.”
Democrats are so committed to defending democracy that they are recruiting civic-minded Trump supporters to run for office under false pretenses.
