Democrats are on a mission to undermine confidence in every single American institution.
The Supreme Court is no exception.
But Democrats are worried sick after one poll about the unprecedented Supreme Court leak hit.
For the first time in history, a Supreme Court draft opinion was leaked.
The leaker, presumably a leftist court clerk, wanted to drum up public support in opposition to an expected ruling that will overturn Roe v. Wade.
The Democrats convinced themselves this was a galvanizing issue for the Midterms, but thus far they have been proven wrong.
Fear-mongering over abortion was not the bonanza Democrats had hoped.
According to a recent Harvard-Harris poll, there is a virtual split on the issue, and pro-lifers have gained ground.
Respondents actually supported overturning Roe at a rate of 51% to 49%.
That is nowhere near the knockout blow Democrats were hoping for.
Perhaps even more dismaying for the Democrats is that the youngest demographic polled (18-34) favor overturning Roe at 52%, meaning the pro-life movement has built support over time.
It is a canard that Republicans cannot win on the abortion issue.
Red states have recently passed laws restricting abortion, and Republicans have only gained ground in those states.
Part of the reason for that is because Democrats’ narrative about abortion is not true.
They believe there is overwhelming support for abortion, but that is not the case.
Polls show that approval of abortion plummets after the first trimester.
While two-thirds support abortion in the first 12 weeks, two-thirds are against abortion in the second 12 weeks.
And tolerance for abortion drops to 19% in the third trimester.
Yet Democrats are pushing for third-trimester abortions up to the point of birth for any reason whatsoever, which is wildly out of step with the American people.
It should also be noted that the Harvard-Harris poll showed 77% of respondents believed the leak was politically motivated and intended to put pressure on the Supreme Court.
As a result, conservatives on the Supreme Court required security as mobs formed outside of their homes.
Some protesters even wore outfits from The Handmaid’s Tale outside of Amy Coney Barrett’s home.
Things escalated to a point where this week a crazed California man traveled to Justice Kavanaugh’s home with the intent to murder him, explicitly over his position on life and guns.
If Roe is overturned, the abortion issue will kick back to the states.
That’s a good sign for the protection of life in red states with strong Republican leadership.
The pro-life movement is gaining momentum as more people learn about the horrors of abortion, and the lies being told by the abortion industry.
