The Midterm elections are rapidly approaching.
Both sides have reasons for optimism – as well as concern.
But Democrats are panicking about one Senate race they thought they had in the bag.
Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman initially opened up a big lead on Donald Trump-endorsed candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.
But Fetterman has been losing ground for weeks.
Fetterman’s lead in the polls was substantial when he was convalescing after suffering a stroke, but since he’s been forced to go out on the campaign trail and speak, it’s been an utter disaster for him.
A one new poll suggests that Fetterman and Oz are in a virtual tie.
Fox Philadelphia reported that “a New Insider Advantage/FOX 29 Philadelphia poll shows Democratic nominee John Fetterman leading Dr. Mehmet Oz by a narrow margin in Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate Race. The poll, which surveyed 550 likely voters, shows just how tight the race is between the top two candidates with just a few weeks left before election day on Nov. 8. The poll has a margin of error of 4.2%. Fetterman leads in the polling with 45%, slightly ahead of Oz and his 42%. 8% of those polled say they’re undecided in that race . . .”
The more truth that comes out about Fetterman, the worse he looks.
For example, he clearly has not fully recovered from his stroke, and he struggles to string together coherent sentences.

Fetterman has made several mistakes like this, which has raised concerns about his fitness for office.
Even Democrats argue that he should debate Dr. Oz to show that he is up for the rigors of the job.
Fetterman’s team agreed to a debate a week before election day, which is after the start of early voting.
Fetterman is effectively a mouthpiece for Big Labor and Union Bosses who lead the Democrat Party around by the nose.
Also, his man-of-the-people shtick seems to be crumbling, as he has been exposed as living off his family’s money.
The Daily Wire reported that Fetterman “survived for his 13-year tenure as mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, thanks to his parents’ money. Fetterman, age 52, was elected in 2006 and left the position in 2019 after being elected to his current position. In 2015 alone, his parents gave him $54,000 . . . As Mayor, Fetterman received a $1,800 salary. For his part, Fetterman has stated that his family’s generosity allowed him to serve the public . . . The Lieutenant Governor also purchased a residency from his sister for just $1. His sister first purchased the loft for $70,000 . . .”
The Democrats are going to have a tough time dragging Fetterman across the finish line.
