Joe Biden’s immigration policy has been an utter disaster.
It sticks out as one of his top failures in office.
And Democrats are desperate to hide this terrifying secret about Biden’s border crisis.
Donald Trump was making strides to get the border crisis under control.
All of that was undermined the minute Joe Biden stepped into the White house.
One of his first orders of business was to reverse all of Trump’s effective border policies, such as the Remain in Mexico agreement he made with President Andés Manuel López Obrador.
Biden instead wanted to revert back to Obama’s catch-and-release program, which allowed illegal aliens with illegitimate asylum claims to stay in the country after skipping their asylum hearings.
As a result, there were a record-high 1.7 million illegal encounters in 2021, and that record has already been shattered in 2022 (2.7 million) with two months to go.
And some of the people coming into the country illegally are on the terror watch list.
CNS News reported that “the U.S. Border Patrol encountered 98 foreign nationals on the terrorist watchlist who were crossing the U.S.-Mexico border between the ports of entry in fiscal 2022, according to newly released data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. That was up from 15 in fiscal 2021.”
So 98 potential terrorists have illegally entered the country in 2022 thanks to Biden’s open borders administration.
The number is a dramatic increase over 2021, and even more shocking when compared to the numbers during the Trump administration.
CNS News added that “the Border Patrol’s 98 encounters with individuals on the terrorist watchlist between the ports of entry on the U.S.-Mexico border is the most in that category in any of the last six fiscal years. In fiscal 2017, the Border Patrol encountered 2 on the terrorist watchlist between the ports of entry on the U.S.-Mexico border. In 2018, it encountered 6. In 2019, it encountered 0. In 2020, it encountered 3. In 2021, it encountered 15.”
In Trump’s four years in office, there were 11 such encounters.
Biden surpassed that in year one, and he blew it out of the water in year two.
The word is out that it’s open season on the southern border.
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has made it quite clear that deportations will no longer be a priority in the Biden administration.
Biden is objectively making the country less safe.
