Democrats are dripping with desperation going into the midterm elections.
They are bracing themselves for an impending red wave.
And one Democrat running against Rand Paul ran the most despicable campaign ad you will ever see.
In perhaps the worst political stunt ever seen, Kentucky Democrat Charles Booker stooped to a new low in his race against Rand Paul for U.S. Senate.
Booker appeared in a campaign ad with a noose around his neck, suggesting that Paul supported black people beng lynched.
Lynching is a tool of terror. It was used to kill hopes for freedom. In Kentucky, it was used to kill three of my uncles.
In this historic election, the choice is clear. Rand Paul may want to divide us, but hate won’t win this time.

Everything about the ad is absurd.
First, Paul blocked the first anti-lynching bill because the language was too broad – he co-sponspored a later bill that addressed his concerns, which eventually became law.
Paul explained, “In the end, I think the compromise language will hopefully keep us from incarcerating somebody for some kind of crime that’s not lynching . . . We just wanted to make sure that the punishment was proportional to the crime, and I guess it’s just good news that it finally worked out.”
Under the initial bill, the Jussie Smollett hoax – if it had been real – would have qualified as a lynching because he had abrasions around his neck from a string.
That is a far cry from public hangings where people were actually murdered.
Booker, of course, leaves that inconvenient fact out of his disgusting ad.
Paul’s deputy campaign manager added, “Dr. Paul worked diligently with Senators Booker and Scott to strengthen the language of this legislation and is a cosponsor of the bill that now ensures that federal law will define lynching as the absolutely heinous crime that it is . . . Any attempt to state otherwise is a desperate misrepresentation of the facts.”
Also, the bill itself is more symbolic than anything.
The last lynching occurred before Booker was even born.
The legislation comes decades too late, but the Democrats can thank Franklin D. Roosevelt for that.
In order to pass his New Deal initiatives, he made a deal with the Dixiecrats not to promote anti-lynching legislation, and appointed known Klansman Hugo Black to the Supreme Court.
Booker’s stunt is indicative of the Democratic Party, all emotion and no substance.
Booker has no plans to make Kentuckians’ lives better, just left-wing platitudes about ending all of society’s ills with higher taxes.
So far, the emotionalism of the Left have not helped them gain any footing in the generic Congressional ballot.
The American people are sick of the Democrats’ anti-American message.
