Talk radio show host Dave Ramsey is one of the most popular personal finance gurus.
He’s known for not being afraid to dish out the hard truths.
And Dave Ramsey went to war with the woke outrage mob over this shocking 2024 decision.
Dave Ramsey mocks cancel culture after he endorses Donald Trump
Popular talk radio show host Dave Ramsey gives his listeners advice about their financial situations.
Ramsey – a Christian and a conservative – has shied away from politics on his show to stick to money matters.
But this year he decided to announce to his audience that he was endorsing former President Donald Trump.
“I’m looking at ideas and which idea lands on which side of the aisle,” Ramsey said. “So I’m going to tell you, I’m voting for Donald Trump. Because I checked those boxes and more of them are on that side than the other.”
He listed some of the policies he considered while making his decision.
“Where am I most likely to get a tax policy that I like? Where am I most likely to get an immigration policy I like? Where am I most likely to get a foreign policy I like? Where am I most likely to get a gun policy I like? A climate change policy I like? A woke policy I like? That I agree with,” Ramsey explained.
Ramsey said that Trump checked more boxes for him than the opposition.
The long-time radio host told his audience he wasn’t worried about potential backlash from supporting the former President.
“If you want to vote the other way, as long you’re being thoughtful about it and you’re being a nice person, we’re still friends,” Ramsey said. “Some of you are never gonna listen to me again after this. That’s okay, I can deal with that. That’s happened to me for 30 years.”
Ramsey told the woke outrage mob that they wouldn’t have any luck if they tried to cancel him.
“People have threatened me with, ‘I’m going to cancel you.’ That’s hard to do. I own the show, and so you’re not gonna get to cancel me. So you can leave, but you can’t cancel me,” Ramsey declared.
Ramsey’s endorsement came after interviewing Donald Trump
Ramsey previously put out an offer to both Presidential candidates for an interview about the economic issues facing the country.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign said they would review but never got back to him.
Trump took him up on the offer.
Ramsey traveled to Trump Tower in New York City where he asked the former President about how he would help ease the pressure of inflation on Americans.
He praised Trump for being a straight shooter about his tax and energy policies.
Trump told Ramsey that unleashing American production was the key to lowering prices for Americans because every good is affected by energy prices.
“Around 15% of the GDP is direct energy production, and then the rest of it is impacted by energy. So the loaf of bread that’s gone way up on the grocery shelf had to be delivered by a truck that had more expensive gas than it used to have,” Ramsey said about Trump’s plan.
Donald Trump has a plan that Dave Ramsey believes will lower costs for Americans if he’s elected.
