CNN’s Own Analyst Just Confirmed What Democrats Spent Years Denying About Political Violence

A man wheeled a cart full of gasoline and fireworks to a federal building in Manhattan yesterday morning and set it on fire.

CNN put their own law enforcement expert on air hours later – and he said something that has to be keeping Democrats up tonight.

What he admitted on live television is something conservatives have been called liars for saying for years.

The Attack Democrats Won't Talk About

Andrew Arrabaca, a 43-year-old Army veteran from Poughkeepsie, showed up at 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan on Monday morning with a cart loaded for war.

Inside: six incendiary devices, a canister, fireworks, gasoline, two axes, a hammer, a machete, three knives, and a sign reading "ICE Off Our Streets."

He dumped the gasoline on the entrance stairs and lit it.

A Federal Protective Service officer tackled him before he could do worse, sustaining minor injuries in the process.

Three people were hurt – including one civilian who turned out to be an immigrant there for an immigration status hearing.

The man trying to "protect" immigrants from ICE injured one of them.

FBI Assistant Director James Barnacle was blunt at the press conference: Arrabaca "was looking to injure people and harm people."

Barnacle added that 26 Federal Plaza has long been a target of extremists – a federal building housing the FBI, ICE, and immigration courts, everything the radical Left has spent years declaring open targets.

CNN Said It Out Loud

Within hours of the attack, CNN anchor Brianna Keilar brought on retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent Steve Moore – the network's own law enforcement contributor – and asked him what he was watching on political violence trend lines.

Moore didn't hedge.

"I think I have not seen this much political violence in dozens of years," he said.

He went on: "Back then it was the right-wing – the white supremacists, the Posse Comitatus. And now we've got the left-wing, the anarchists, and the anti-government people."

Then the quiet part: "It is probably the highest I've ever seen it."

That's a 25-year FBI veteran, on CNN, confirming what conservative Americans have been saying since the summer of 2020.

The Pattern Democrats Buried

The data backs Moore up – and it's been building for years.

In 2025, left-wing attacks or plots in the United States outnumbered right-wing incidents for the first time in more than three decades.

In September 2025, Joshua Jahn walked into the Dallas ICE field office and opened fire, killing one detainee and wounding two others.

Investigators found a spent casing at the scene engraved with the words "ANTI ICE."

The Trump administration's May 2026 counterterrorism strategy responded by making violent left-wing extremism – including anarchists and anti-fascist groups – a named national security priority alongside narcoterrorism and Islamist threats.

More than 65 nations answered the administration's call this month and gathered in Washington to address the rising threat of far-left political violence.

That's not a fringe concern anymore.

What Monday Proved

The Left spent years telling you that "ICE off our streets" was a political slogan.

Monday morning it became a battle cry for a man wheeling weapons to a federal building where immigrants were checking in for hearings.

The victim wasn't a Trump voter or an ICE agent.

It was the very immigrant the movement claims to protect.

That's what happens when Democrats spend years treating federal law enforcement as the enemy – they create the permission structure for violence.

The question is whether anyone at CNN was listening when their own expert told them exactly where this was heading.
