What Charlamagne Actually Said on National Television
Wednesday night on The Daily Show, radio host Charlamagne Tha God – real name Leonard McKelvey – aired a clip of Delaware Democratic Senator Chris Coons.
Then he used the Senator's name as a weapon against Justice Clarence Thomas.
"Mr. Coons' is actually my nickname for Clarence Thomas," McKelvey said on air.
"Coon" is a racial slur with a specific, ugly history in America.
It was used to dehumanize black Americans for generations.

And McKelvey just dropped it on a major network – on a Justice who sits on the highest court in the land – to applause.
This was not a podcast.
It was not a private conversation.
It aired on Comedy Central, a Paramount property, to a national audience.
This Is Not the First Time
Last month, The Daily Show guest host Josh Johnson called Thomas an "Uncle Tom" on the same program.
Johnson's slur came April 30 in response to the SCOTUS ruling that paved the way for states to stop allowing racially gerrymandered congressional districts – a ruling that returned power to voters instead of political cartographers.
Two racial slurs.
Two different hosts.
Same show.
Same network.
Same silence from the left.

Ask yourself this: if a conservative commentator had called a black Democrat on the Supreme Court a "coon" on national television, how many minutes would it take before CNN ran a breaking news chyron?
How many hours before Democratic senators demanded the network cancel the show?
How many days before advertisers were pressured into pulling their spots?
The answer is minutes, hours, and days.
For Charlamagne Tha God, the answer is crickets.
The Left Only Protects Black Americans Who Vote the Way They're Told
This is the core of what you're watching.
The left has never actually cared about protecting black Americans from racist abuse.
They care about protecting the narrative – the one that says black America must vote Democrat or face social death.
Clarence Thomas refused that deal decades ago.
He built a legal philosophy grounded in individual rights, constitutional text, and the principle that government programs built on race are themselves a form of racism.

And now he is watching Comedy Central hosts call him a "coon" on Wednesday night television while the people who run MSNBC stare at their shoes.
The left doesn't have a racism problem the way they claim.
They have a Clarence Thomas problem.
He refused to be owned – and they have never forgiven him for it.
