“Woke” capitalism has become a massive problem.
Companies are engaging in policies and rhetoric against the wishes of their customers.
And car manufacturers are falling in line with a disturbing new trend.
The globalists and radical environmentalists are quickly on the path of taking the reins of the economy in the name of “climate change.”
Due to the threat of negative ESG (environmental, social, and governance) scores, companies are beginning to get on board with the global “green” agenda.
Car manufacturers are being cudgeled by the government to make more electric vehicles and phase out gas-powered cars altogether.
Now Dodge is scrapping two of their most popular models.
Parent company Stellantis wrote in a statement, “The Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger, in current form, are coming to an end, and the Dodge brand is seizing the opportunity to celebrate in true, over-the-top Dodge style. The Dodge 2023 lineup will pay homage to the muscle car pair with seven special models, the return of a rainbow of heritage colors, an expansion of SRT Jailbreak models, a commemorative ‘Last Call’ underhood plaque for all 2023 Charger and Challenger vehicles and a new, customer-focused vehicle allocation process.”
Dodge will shift its focus toward more electric vehicles, as stated by brand CEO Tim Kuniskis.
He explained, “We are celebrating the end of an era — and the start of a bright new electrified future — by staying true to our brand . . . At Dodge, we never lift, and the brand will mark the last of our iconic Charger and Challenger nameplates in their current form in the same way that got us here, with a passion both for our products and our enthusiasts that drives us to create as much uniqueness in the muscle car community and marketplace as possible.”
The “electrified” future is not organic – it is being enforced top-down by governments and wealth management firms like BlackRock that have an extreme environmentalist agenda.
In every way imaginable, globalists are looking to seize control in order to centrally plan the world’s economy.
For at least 30 years, the green movement has worked to propagandize people into believing that the globe was in peril unless people dramatically cut carbon emissions to curb global warming.
There are several tells that something is amiss, but two obvious ones are that the elites refuse to stop flying on private jets that burn excessive amounts of C02, and they continue to buy beachfront homes despite admonitions about rising sea levels.
