Major theme parks roll out red carpet for America’s finest
In a move that shows corporate America can still do the right thing, United Parks & Resorts announced that both Busch Gardens and SeaWorld parks are offering completely free admission to active-duty military personnel and veterans leading up to July 4.
The announcement came just in time for Independence Day celebrations, proving that some companies still understand what it means to honor those who serve.
Veterans can register for free one-day admission for themselves and up to three guests through June 22, with tickets valid until July 6.
This generous offer covers Busch Gardens parks in Tampa Bay and Williamsburg, along with Adventure Island and Water Country USA.
SeaWorld parks in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego are also participating, plus Aquatica parks in Orlando and San Antonio.
Waves of Honor program demonstrates long-term commitment

The registration process couldn’t be easier for military families.
Eligible U.S. military veterans and retirees can sign up for their complimentary tickets at WavesofHonor.com before June 22.
Service members and their direct dependents just need a valid active military ID to participate.
Active-duty military, drilling reservists, and National Guardsmen can take advantage of the year-round program plus the special July 4 bonus tickets.
Additional discounts and offers are available through MWR and ITT offices on U.S. military bases.
The program covers both the theme parks and their corresponding water parks, giving families multiple options for their free day out.
