Bud Light learned it does not pay to go woke.
The pushback was swift and furious.
And now Bud Light admitted a major defeat after Travis Tritt made this huge announcement.
Bud Light’s marketing deal with social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney sparked national outrage and a boycott.
Mulvaney is a grown adult male that acts like a ten-year-old girl, wears a dress, and claims to be a woman.
Millions of Americans could not believe that Anheuser-Busch – which markets itself as the all-American “King of Beers” would jump in with both feet into the culture war and begin promoting the transgender lifestyle.
Conservatives who are tired of the radical Left imposing its woke agenda on America through its allies in corporate America quickly organized boycotts of all Anheuser-Busch products.
Country music superstar Travis Tritt announced he would no longer serve Anheuser-Busch products on his tour bus and that several other country music stars planned to follow suit.
“I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider,” Tritt wrote on social media. “I know many other artists who are doing the same.”
Within two weeks Anheuser Busch lost $5 billion in market cap and CEO Brendan Whitworth was looking for an off ramp.
Whitworth released a statement apologizing for the company’s divisive marketing campaign and pledging to remain a company whose products united the country.

This marked the first time a major corporation backed down from the woke agenda in the face of a conservative boycott.
Usually when conservatives say they will boycott a product over left-wing cultural stances the company doubles down and claims they are standing up for diversity, inclusiveness, and the desire to be part of a conversation that moves America forward.
There has never been a cultural penalty for companies going woke.
But now there is.
For years, conservatives watched as corporations folded to the Left and pulled advertisements from Fox News just because leftists threatened to boycott their products.
Now conservatives are adapting to the new reality and fighting fire with fire.
