Mahomes wrote a post on social media telling her critics off.
“I mean honestly. To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well,” Mahomes wrote.

Co-host Sunny Hostin attacked Mahomes’ marriage over Brittany liking Trump’s post.
She said that she was hoping the “Swift effect” from the pop star’s endorsement would lead to an increase in voter registration and turn people off to Trump.
Hostin pivoted to attacking Mahomes for being in an interracial marriage.
“To your initial point, I know you said we weren’t going to talk about it, but I was,” Hostin ranted. “It just seems to me that since she is in an interracial marriage, she should have known that to support a racist is problematic.”
Hostin smears Trump as a racist in the same tired and discreet attack that Democrats have used for years.
“Her children are biracial, and her family is one of the families that in the 70s could not have lived in any of Donald Trump’s buildings,” Hostin claimed without evidence.
Hostin suggested that Mahomes’ support for the former President was because of a lack of intelligence.
“So it just seems to me that maybe she’s just not that politically savvy or maybe she’s just not read in, but it’s problematic,” Hostin said.
