Vice President Kamala Harris is trying to close the deal with the dwindling number of undecided voters.
Her handlers’ strategy of having her avoid the press and not lay out an agenda for most of the campaign is coming back to haunt her.
Many of the remaining undecided voters have no idea what she stands for.
And they’re watching former President Donald Trump’s campaign and his allies paint her as a far-left extremist in advertising.
Comedian Bill Maher warned that Kamala needed to convince voters that she’s not a “stealth version of the worst excesses of the Left” during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
Maher said that as an “old school liberal,” he’s appalled by some of the actions of the rising woke wing of the Democrat Party.
“I consider myself an old-school liberal,” Maher stated. “You have to make that distinction now because, you know, the word woke, which started out as a good thing, being alert to injustice.”
The comedian pointed out that “woke” now is used to describe many of the excesses on the Left.
“Words change and they migrate and they take on a different meaning and ‘woke’ now has to answer for or for people who have just used the word to ascribe a number of extreme things on the Left,” Maher explained.
Kamala confirms that she’s a member of a far-left
“I mean Kamala’s big, I think, challenge here to win over the undecided voters is to convince them that she’s not part of what they suspect she might be sort of a stealth version of the worst excesses of the Left,” Maher said.
Maher thought that some of Trump’s coalition of voters in this election were people who didn’t necessarily love him but thought he was a better option than the Left.
“There’s people who don’t necessarily like him that much but they still think he’s less crazy than stuff that strikes them as aggressively anti-common-sense, right that takes place on the left, right?” Maher stated. “So that’s why they keep running that ad about sex changes in prisons.”
Kamala supported giving taxpayer-provided transgender surgeries to illegal aliens and criminals during her failed 2020 Presidential campaign.
She refused to walk back her support for it during an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier.
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough noted that the ad seemingly plays during every football game.
“Could you get more third-rail words into one sentence than sex-change operations, taxpayer-funded,” Maher said.
Scarborough was disappointed that Kamala didn’t take the easy win by denouncing her past support for it.
The problem is that Kamala Harris is a member of the far-left fringe of the Democrat Party and voters are increasingly seeing through her fake moderate act.
