Inflation has hit a 40-year-high, and supply chain issues have dragged on for months.
But Biden’s handling of the southern border has been just as terrible.
Donald Trump had made significant strides in getting the border under control, and Biden reversed all of the effective policies as soon as he stepped into office.
Now, Biden could make the border so much worse by offering amnesty to illegal aliens.
The Biden administration had been negotiating $450,000 settlements to so-called victims of Trump’s “zero tolerance” border policies, but the deal fell apart after word of the deal leaked.
When Biden was asked about it during a press briefing, he said the payments were “never gonna happen.”
His administration had to clarify his remarks and confirm the settlement talks were real.
However, polls showed that 63% of Americans opposed the payments which would have totaled $1 billion.
Instead, the Biden administration wants to offer the illegal alien families amnesty.
“We are advocating to Congress that they provide these individuals with legal status — that requires a statutory change. The White House is 100 percent supportive of it, as am I, and we continue to advocate vigorously for it,” DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told NBC News.
The United States has passed multiple amnesty bills, but supposed comprehensive immigration reform never happens.
More waves of illegal immigrants pour into the country seeking economic opportunity and promises of government programs made by Democratic politicians.
Many migrants tragically die on their trip to America based on empty promises from people attempting to get elected.
When they get to America, they overwhelm resources in border communities.
The issue of illegal immigration has flipped some heavy latino border districts from Democrat to Republican.
Offering amnesty would only serve as a magnet for more illegal immigrants to come to the country.
Biden’s border policies don’t make any sense.
The Democrats seem to be pursuing open borders without coming out and saying it.
But all of their actions support open borders.
For example, illegal immigrants have been transported on secret midnight flights all throughout the country.
The Democrats’ America Last policies are completely nonsensical.
