Bernie Sanders is largely to blame for socialism gaining more mainstream acceptance in America.
And he’s earned a lot of money promoting it.
Now Sanders is charging $100 a head for folks to attend one ridiculous event.
Bernie Sanders’ 2016 Presidential campaign helped popularize the democratic socialism driving the Democrat Party today.
Instead of instituting soul-crushing authoritarianism through a violent Marxist revolution, democratic socialists want to usher in the soul-crushing authoritarianism “democratically.”
Sanders was a long-time apologist for the Soviet Union and communist regimes in Cuba, Nicaragua, and pretty much everywhere else.
So it’s particularly ironic that the old-school commie is charging up to $95 for an anti-capitalist event on March 1.
Sanders will be hawking his new book, It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.
Multi-millionaire Bernie Sanders is charging up to $95 per ticket to attend his upcoming anti-capitalism event, where he will be hawking his anti-capitalism book for $28.

Sanders’s book is being published by Penguin Random House, a multi-billion-dollar publishing powerhouse.
Penguin Random House’s blurb for the book read, “Senator Bernie Sanders takes on the billionaire class and speaks blunt truths about our country’s failure to address the destructive nature of a system that is fueled by uncontrolled greed and rigidly committed to prioritizing corporate profits over the needs of ordinary Americans.”
One wonders if Penguin Random House is excluded from the “billionaire class.”
Sanders used to rail against the “millionaires and billionaires,” but he recently stopped ragging on the millionaires when he became one.
It turns out being a career communist crank has worked out well for Sanders.
Not only does he have seven figures in the bank, he owns multiple houses.
Sanders also lives in Vermont, a state with some of the most free gun laws, while he advocates for more gun control nationally.
Someone should ask Sanders if he’s going to equally share the book proceeds with all of the workers who cut down the trees for the paper and bound the books and operated the machinery to mass-produce the books.
Somehow it does not seem likely.
Sanders and so many other champagne socialists live high on the hog in America, yet they claim to hate the American system.
Sanders isn’t living on a commune – in fact, he supposedly got kicked out of a commune in the 1970s for being too lazy.
Worse yet, Sanders even sold out when it came to war – he has offered no resistance to the war machine’s efforts for an endless conflict in Eastern Europe.
In America, even socialists can live well.
