Barack Obama Slipped Up and Let Democrats Tell You Exactly What They Plan to Do With AI

Barack Obama spent two terms trying to hand American sovereignty to globalist institutions.

Now a Democrat senator just admitted the end goal out loud.

And Barack Obama slipped up and let Democrats tell you exactly what they plan to do with AI.

Obama's Private Playbook Goes Public

Obama didn't hold a press conference.

He went to a private fundraiser with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and told the aspiring Speaker exactly what to do if Democrats take the House in November.

Obama's own office released a partial transcript of his remarks to the New York Times.

"Once you are speaker, I would strongly urge that the Democrats put together a framework for a very public conversation," Obama told Jeffries.

Translation: build the machinery now, run the messaging campaign, and seize regulatory control of AI before Republicans know what hit them.

Obama's instinct here isn't new.

This is the same man who tried to saddle America with the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership – two massive globalist trade frameworks designed to route American economic policy through international bodies.

Trump killed both of them in his first term.

Now Obama is back with a new vehicle, and the vehicle is AI panic.

The House Majority PAC – the Jeffries-aligned group spending tens of millions to flip the House – released a memo this month telling Democrat candidates to strike a "conspiratorial nerve" with voters about AI.

That's not policy.

That's a cynical influence campaign.

Ossoff Gave Away the Game

AI is already eliminating jobs at companies across America – and millions of families know it.

That's the fear Democrats are running on.

And that fear is exactly what they intend to exploit.

Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff – the Democrat who slipped into his Senate seat in the 2021 Georgia runoff and is now fighting to keep it against Trump-backed Rep. Mike Collins – wasn't at Obama's private meeting.

But at a campaign rally this weekend, he said the quiet part out loud.

"A capable president would move swiftly to secure and reassure the American people. Rush inspectors into frontier labs, fortify the nation against bioterrorism, demand legislation from Congress, and lead the world toward an AI treaty," Ossoff said.

An AI treaty?

With whom? Enforced by what body?

He's describing the same global governance structure the United Nations has been pushing for years.

The UN Secretary-General has openly backed calls for a binding international AI treaty.

The UN Security Council held its first formal meeting on AI governance in 2023.

Last year, Trump's own Science and Technology Policy director, Michael Kratsios, stood before the UN and told them America "totally" rejected every effort by international organizations to "assert centralized control and global governance of AI."

Ossoff wants to hand them exactly what Trump refused to give.

The Pattern David Sacks Already Named

This isn't a coincidence.

Former Trump AI czar David Sacks called it months ago – explicitly.

He warned that "hyperbolic and unproven claims" about AI job losses were "not an accident" but part of an "influence operation" aimed at delivering "Global AI Governance" to "globalist institutions."

He named the players: left-wing billionaires, a web of nonprofits and NGOs funneling money through the Effective Altruism movement, and tech elites using doomsday predictions to push ordinary Americans toward surrendering regulatory authority to the United Nations and the World Economic Forum.

The 2026 picture matches his description exactly.

Democrats have made AI regulation a centerpiece of House and Senate campaigns nationwide.

Obama and Biden administration alumni have formally organized to shape Democrat AI policy and brief incoming lawmakers.

The UN has stood up a 40-expert scientific panel modeled on its climate apparatus and scheduled a "Global AI Governance Dialogue" for Geneva.

It is running exactly the way Sacks said it would.

This Is What They Do With Power

Democrats are not running on AI safety because they are worried about AI.

They are running on AI safety because a majority of voters – Republican and Democrat alike – are skeptical of the technology.

Only 26 percent of voters view AI positively.

Democrats see that number and see an opening.

Obama didn't push for American companies to be reined in or American workers to be protected.

He told Jeffries to build a "framework for a very public conversation" – the same globalist architecture-building he spent two terms pursuing through trade deals.

Ossoff didn't call for a congressional oversight committee.

He called for an international treaty – the kind of agreement that routes around Congress, routes around the Constitution, and hands enforcement to bodies that American voters cannot fire.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said it plainly at a recent Breitbart News event: "There is no day after tomorrow if China wins at this."

America must win the AI race.

Every framework that slows American development and routes governance authority to a UN body is a gift to Beijing.

Democrats are counting on you to be frightened enough about AI that you hand them the power to do exactly that.

Don't.
