Democrats spent four years telling you Joe Biden was sharp, steady, and fully in charge of every decision.
Now Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is on camera praising the idea of unelected generals running foreign policy around the president Americans chose.
She meant it as an attack on Trump, but she accidentally made the most important admission of 2026.
What AOC Said Out Loud
A MeidasTouch reporter caught up with AOC outside the Capitol on Monday and asked about Trump golfing while the Iran ceasefire holds.
Her answer was something else.
"Some of the most important military decisionmakers in the country are trying to keep him out of consequential decisions," she said. "So in some ways you kind of want this guy on a golf course more than you want him in the Oval Office."
Then she took it further.
"If the determination is that Donald Trump cannot be trusted in the Situation Room and in unfolding scenarios, then he's not fit to be president."

Sit with that for a second.
AOC isn't saying Trump made a bad call.
She's saying his generals are routing decisions around him – and that she's relieved about it.
A Democrat congresswoman just went on camera and celebrated the possibility that unelected military advisors are overriding the man 80 million Americans elected.
That's not a critique of Trump.
That's a confession about how Democrats think the government should work.
Meanwhile, Trump Actually Stopped a War
Here's what AOC left out of her hallway complaint.
On April 7, after nearly six weeks of US-Israeli strikes on Iran, Trump announced a two-week ceasefire brokered by Pakistan.
Iran submitted a ten-point peace proposal. Trump called it a "workable basis on which to negotiate" and said almost every major point of contention had been resolved.
The man AOC wants kept away from the Situation Room walked the region back from open war – while Democrats were drafting removal legislation.
The ceasefire is now under serious strain.
Iran reclosed the Strait of Hormuz after Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The US Navy seized an Iranian cargo ship Sunday.
Negotiations in Islamabad are uncertain.
Trump said Monday it was "highly unlikely" he would extend the truce if no deal is reached by Wednesday.
None of that changes what AOC's argument actually requires her to believe: that the same president she wants removed is somehow simultaneously incompetent and the central figure in the only active diplomatic effort to end the conflict.

She can't have it both ways.
She's trying anyway.
Democrats Are Recycling a Losing Play
This isn't the first time they've run this play.
Democrats floated the 25th Amendment during Trump's first term after a 2018 New York Times op-ed claimed White House insiders were working to frustrate his agenda.
They tried removal again after January 6th. Both times, nothing happened.
Now Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland has introduced legislation to create a congressional commission authorized to declare Trump unfit for office.
"Public trust in Donald Trump's ability to meet the duties of his office has dropped to unprecedented lows," Raskin said.
The math, though, is brutal. Raskin's bill would have to pass both Republican-controlled chambers of Congress, survive Trump's certain veto, and then be overturned by two-thirds supermajorities in both the House and Senate.
For context: Democrats tried to remove Trump through impeachment twice and fell ten Senate votes short both times – and the Senate is now even more solidly Republican.

They need more votes for this than they needed for impeachment.
They couldn't get the impeachment votes.
The White House treated the whole exercise accordingly.
"Lightweight Jamie Raskin is a stupid person's idea of a smart person," said spokesperson Davis Ingle. "President Trump's sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the past four years when Democrats like Raskin intentionally covered up Joe Biden's serious mental and physical decline from the American people."
The Part They're Counting on You to Forget
This is the same party that assured you Biden was completely capable of governing while his own staff was reportedly routing decisions around him.
The same people who called it a right-wing conspiracy theory when Republicans raised Biden's fitness are now introducing legislation to create a presidential fitness commission.
They didn't want a fitness commission for a president who got lost walking off debate stages and couldn't finish sentences under a single hour of questioning.
They want one for a president who just negotiated a ceasefire that stopped nearly six weeks of strikes and brought both sides to the table in Pakistan.
AOC didn't leave that ceasefire without comment.
After Trump announced the truce, she posted on X: "This statement changes nothing. Whether by his Cabinet or Congress, the President must be removed from office."
Her argument, in plain English: Trump doing his job is not a reason to keep him in the job.
That tells you everything this 25th Amendment push actually is.
It's not a constitutional argument.
It's the Democrat Party's post-2024 tantrum dressed in legal language, recycled every few months whenever Trump does something that makes their removal case harder to sell.
They don't have the votes.
They don't have a mechanism that works.
What they have is a hallway, a MeidasTouch reporter, and the belief that repeating "25th Amendment" enough times will eventually mean something.
It won't.
