Most conservatives agree that one of the biggest mistakes of Donald Trump’s Presidency was not firing Anthony Fauci while he had the chance.
Instead of firing Fauci, Trump did the opposite and elevated him to the top of his COVID task force.
Anthony Fauci recommended the first round of lockdowns, which he falsely promised the American people would only take “two weeks to slow the spread.”
That was the first in a long string of false claims and outright lies made by Fauci during the pandemic.
He misled the American people about the effectiveness of wearing a facemask and lied about the efficacy and safety of the vaccine.
Fauci also lied to Senator Rand Paul under oath about funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Lab.
But two years worth of economy-crushing lockdowns and authoritarian mandates served as a wake-up call for millions of Americans who no longer trust the so-called public health experts.
Rumors recently surfaced that Biden was planning to bring back the COVID mandates in the fall.
“President Joe Biden also said last week that he plans to request more money from Congress to develop a fresh coronavirus vaccine, adding he may require everyone to take it whether they have been previously vaccinated or not,” Breitbart reported. “Noticing these pandemic-era trends, social media users and some conservatives in the media space have been speculating that Democrats and health leaders are looking to bring back mandates and lockdowns.”
But Donald Trump put the COVID tyrants on notice that the American people will not go along with their mandates this time around.
“The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming,” Trump said in a video his campaign posted to X. “They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election,” Trump continued. “Does that sound familiar?”
However, Trump had a message for any political leader who tried to bring back the mandates.
“But to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom, hear these words: we will not comply,” Trump declared. “So don’t even think about it.”

Donald Trump made the mistake once of allowing authoritarian bureaucrats to get away with COVID mandates.
But he is not the type of man who makes the same mistake twice.
And Donald Trump made it clear that the American people “will not comply” with another set of lockdowns and mandates.
