Someone tried to kill Donald Trump twice in three months in 2024.
Ana Navarro shrugged both times – and redirected to gun control.
Now she's on national television predicting people will celebrate when the sitting President of the United States dies, and she wants you to believe that's just a warning, not a wish.
What She Actually Said on Live Television
Monday on The View, Navarro spent several minutes attacking Trump for his Truth Social post celebrating the death of former FBI Director Robert Mueller – a Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient who died March 20 at age 81.
Mueller's family had disclosed in August 2025 that he had been quietly battling Parkinson's disease since a 2021 diagnosis.
Trump posted, "Robert Mueller just died. Good, I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!"
Fair criticism? Maybe. But Navarro didn't stop at criticism.
She said, "He is 80 years old, he's got obvious visible physical ailments, and there will be people that when he passes away – as we will all pass away – will write these type of things and celebrate."
Then she delivered the kicker: "If you don't condemn it today from him, you don't have a right to condemn it then from anybody."

That's not a warning.
That's a promise wrapped in plausible deniability.
The Record She's Hoping You Forgot
This isn't a one-time slip. This is a pattern – and Navarro's own record proves it.
When an armed man traveled from California to Brett Kavanaugh's Maryland home with a gun, a knife, zip ties, and pepper spray intending to assassinate the Supreme Court Justice, The View spent more time on gun control than on the plot itself.
The View's Joy Behar had been enthusiastic about protesters surrounding justices' homes in the weeks leading up to the attempt.
When Trump survived the first assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania – a bullet grazing his ear while supporter Corey Comperatore died shielding his family – Navarro called political violence "very much a part of" modern America and pivoted to gun restrictions.
She equated the attempt on a president's life to bomb threats she blamed on Trump supporters.
When a second gunman was caught months later at Trump's Florida golf club with an AK-47, she did it again – blamed mental health and weapons access, refused to connect left-wing rhetoric to left-wing violence, and moved on.
When conservative podcaster Charlie Kirk was assassinated – by a gunman who engraved his bullets with anti-fascist rhetoric, per a White House executive order Trump signed in September 2025 – Navarro said she wasn't "disappointed" in Trump's response.

Mostly because she wasn't "surprised."
The pattern is consistent: when violence targets conservatives, Navarro finds systemic explanations.
When she talks about Trump dying, she calls it karma.
This Is What ABC Pays Her to Do
Navarro is not a political analyst.
She is not a Republican, no matter what her voter registration says.
She is a professional Trump antagonist who ABC pays to sit next to Whoopi Goldberg and say the things that polite company is supposed to leave unsaid.
Monday, she said it loud and clear: when Trump dies, there will be a celebration. And if you didn't condemn Trump today, you can't stop it.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent went on television and said the country should have empathy for the President's family.
Navarro attacked him for it – while cheerfully predicting a celebration at Trump's funeral.
Every time Trump supporters called out The View's escalating rhetoric, they were told they were overreacting.
They weren't.
