Stormy Daniels was supposed to drop bombshell testimony about Donald Trump.

But it turned into a trainwreck after she flew off the rails.

And Alvin Bragg made this terrible mistake by putting Stormy Daniels on the witness stand.

MSNBC legal analyst breaks down how Stormy Daniels hurt Alvin Bragg

Stormy Daniels, testifying against former President Donald Trump, was giddy, hoping that she would drop some politically damaging tidbits.

But her day on the witness stand turned into a dud after the courtroom became a circus.

Not only didn’t she help Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s scam case, she most likely hurt it, according to an MSNBC legal analyst.

Legal expert Danny Cevallos left Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough stunned by the possible fatal damage that Daniels did to the case.

“I think Stormy Daniels’ testimony could’ve been accomplished with three words in the sense that ‘we had sex,’” Cevallos said.

Daniels never testified about any crime Trump committed related to the Manhattan case.

Instead, she debuted a whole new smear campaign against Trump that was almost certainly designed to harm him politically.

“Everything else was probably unnecessary and then to me, [a] testimony like saying ‘well, he was a lot physically larger than me and I wasn’t intimidated, but he was a lot bigger than me, he was blocking the door.’ It goes back to the issue, this is not a sexual assault case,” Cevallos explained.

Daniels had never claimed before that Trump tried to sexually assault her.

This was a whole new testimony that she debuted on the witness stand when the national spotlight was on her.

“And the defense is going to argue, right or wrong, this is what they’re going to argue on appeal that that kind of testimony turned it into a quasi-sex assault case which painted the defendant [Trump] in an unnecessarily bad light in a way that you can’t unring the bell,” Cevallos stated.

Bragg was hoping that Daniels’ concocting a new sexual assault claim against Trump would play well in the media.

But it could be the undoing of his case.

Disgraced Hollywood Producer Harvey Weinstein had his criminal conviction overturned on appeal in New York after testimony that alleged uncharged prior crimes.

Stormy Daniels is a risky witness for Bragg

Cevallos said that Daniels’ penchant for editorializing made her a risky witness for the prosecution.

She added her own commentary to the questions that she was being asked on the witness stand.

“It could get worse. Maybe it won’t,” Cevallos remarked. “Maybe she’ll survive and be fine. But Stormy Daniels is one of those witnesses who likes to not only answer the question asked but add her own editorial and that is a really dangerous thing.”

Daniels going on tangents during testimony made her come off as unhinged and someone with an ax to grind.

“I promise you, the prosecution is sitting at their desk saying ‘just answer the question. Just please answer the question. Please, just the question, no editorializing,’” Cevallos said.

When MSNBC is saying that Stormy Daniels was a bad witness that means that she was a disaster of epic proportions for Alvin Bragg.
