Joe Biden promised to fund the war in Ukraine for “as long as it takes.”
But Americans have soured on sending billions more in taxpayer dollars to fight Ukraine’s war against Russia.
And now all hell is breaking loose over what President Volodymyr Zelensky’s top advisor said about Ukrainian officials.
Polls show that Americans are souring on the idea of sending more taxpayer funded money and weapons to fight the war in Ukraine against Russia.
In June, polls showed roughly 65% of Americans wanted to provide more weapons to Zelensky for the war efforts.
However, that number has declined to 41% in the latest polls.
Zelensky is realizing more and more that Biden’s promise to fund the war for “as long as it takes” will turn out to be a lie.
“Nobody believes in our victory like I do,” Zelensky told TIME in an interview after a trip to Washington, D.C. “Nobody!”
Zelensky whined about politicians in America growing weary of funding his war against Russia.
“The scariest thing is that part of the world got used to the war in Ukraine,” he said. “Exhaustion with the war rolls along like a wave.”
“You see it in the United States, in Europe,” he continued. “And we see that as soon as they start to get a little tired, it becomes like a show to them: ‘I can’t watch this rerun for the 10th time.’”
TIME Magazine followed Zelensky back to Ukraine to get an on-the-ground report of how the war efforts are going against Russia.
And what one Zelensky aide revealed about corruption will make your blood boil.
“When I made this point to a top presidential adviser in early October, he asked me to turn off my audio recorder so he could speak more freely,” TIME reported. “‘Simon, you’re mistaken,’ people are stealing like there’s no tomorrow.’”
According to TIME, the allegations of massive corruption in Ukraine appear to be true.
“People are stealing like there’s no tomorrow,” and it’s American taxpayer dollars that they are taking.
With the Middle East escalating into a brutal conflict, the chances of Biden following through on his promise to fund the war for “as long as it takes” are little to none.
And Zelensky and his corrupt officials will find out quickly that Ukraine takes a backseat when it comes to tensions in Israel and the Middle East.
