House Speaker Kevin McCarthy turned over 41,000 hours of January 6 security camera footage to Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.
Carlson set off a firestorm by showing footage that contradicted the Democrat and media narrative about Trump and his supporters.
But now all hell is breaking loose over Kevin McCarthy’s one-word response to this question about January 6.
For the past two years, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats controlled the entire narrative surrounding the events at the Capitol on January 6.
The American people were only allowed to see selected-chosen footage edited to make Trump and his supporters look as violent as possible.
Then-House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy promised to make the hidden footage available to the public if Republicans won back the majority and elected him as Speaker.
Democrats, RINOs, and the media erupted into a fit of rage when McCarthy turned over the 41,000 hours of hidden footage to Tucker Carlson and gave him permission to show his audience whatever he thought they needed to see.
After Carlson and his team spent days pouring through all 41,000 hours of footage, he told his audience that what he saw did not match the narrative of the last two years and then showed his audience the videos to prove it.
This led to Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer taking to the floor of the Upper Chamber to scold Carlson and demand Fox News prevent him from showing any more footage on their network.
Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell echoed Schumer’s sentiment and blasted Carlson for showing the footage from January 6.
But Schumer and McConnell are about to really blow a gasket when they hear what Kevin McCarthy just told Breitbart News.
“House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News on Wednesday that he intends to fully release to the public the tens of thousands of hours of U.S. Capitol surveillance footage from January 6, 2021,” Breitbart News reported.
When asked if he planned to release the tapes to the public, McCarthy’s one-word reply was the last thing Democrats wanted to hear.
“Yeah,” McCarthy answered.
“We just want to make sure we go through them all, and it takes time,” he continued. “The first thing that Tucker said too, he didn’t want to show any exits to cause any problems,” he continued, before adding that “we asked the Capitol Police, ‘Were there any concerns?’ and “they came back with one, and we mitigated that, but it was interesting, that one that they had a problem with, Eric Swalwell had had up on the internet for the last two years showing that part.”
Democrats and the media are in a total meltdown over Tucker Carlson showing a few minutes of the footage to his audience.
Kevin McCarthy just doubled down and promised to show all 41,000 hours to the public.
