Conservatives responded with outrage after a video surfaced on social media over the weekend showing Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) declaring her allegiance to Somalia and Islam.

But conservatives were not the only ones fuming.

And all hell broke loose after a top government official in Somalia exposed Ilhan Omar for violating her oath of office.

A member of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Squad, Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar is one of the most far-Left radicals in Congress.

Omar has a long history of making anti-American and anti-Semitic remarks during her time in office.

She previously claimed that Israel “hypnotized” the world and alleged that secret Jewish money controlled American politics.

Republicans booted Omar from her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee due to her disgusting statements.

Omar’s family fled Somalia and moved to America when she was 13.

“When she was nine or ten, her family fled Somalia’s civil war, spending the next four years in a Kenyan refugee camp,” American Thinker reported. “The family arrived in America when Omar was 13, eventually settling in Minnesota, the state that, more than any other, had opened its doors to Somali civil war refugees.”

During a recent speech in Minnesota, Omar ranted about a deal between Somalia and Ethiopia that she claims infringed on their territory.

Omar also declared herself to be a “Somalian first” and a “Muslim second.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) slammed Omar in a post on X.

“Terrorist sympathizer Ilhan Omar in her own words: Somalian first. Muslim second,” Greene wrote. “She never mentions America.”

“She flaunts using her position as congresswoman to protect Somalia’s border while our border is invaded by MILLIONS of illegals who are a danger to America,” Greene added.

But conservatives like Greene were not the only ones outraged with Omar over her comments.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Somalia Rhoda J Elmi ripped Omar in a post on social media.

“We were profoundly surprised, even shocked on discovering the remarks made by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D) of Minnesota in a recent public forum, widely circulated on most social media platforms and attached below for your reference,” Elmi wrote. “The language she employed was regrettably unbecoming of both the office she holds and the constituents she represents.”

“Specifically troubling, were her endeavors to revive the once-violent and dangerous ideology of Greater Somalia or Somali Weyn, which caused so much death, destruction and conflict in the Horn of Africa,” Elmi wrote. “Furthermore, her use of ethno-racist rhetoric didn’t escape attention and left many, with a deep sense of disappointment.”

Elmi concluded by asking leadership in the House to do something about Omar’s behavior, which she noted was “unbecoming” for a Member of Congress.

“We hope the house leadership and her caucus will take note of her public conduct, unbecoming a United States Congresswoman nor representative of the august house she serves in,” she concluded.
