Alina Habba: Pam Bondi DOJ Will Use FACE Act to Prosecute Anti-ICE Mob That Stormed Cities Church Minnesota

Biden spent four years throwing grandmothers in prison for praying outside abortion clinics.

Now Attorney General Pam Bondi is turning that weapon around.

And Alina Habba just revealed DOJ plans to use the FACE Act Biden weaponized against pro-lifers to prosecute the anti-ICE church mob.

Trump DOJ Reverses Biden FACE Act Prosecutions of 23 Pro-Life Activists

Biden's Department of Justice loved the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.

They used it to lock up 23 pro-life activists for praying outside abortion facilities.

A 75-year-old grandmother spent two years in federal prison for her role in the protest.

An 89-year-old wheelchair-bound Soviet concentration camp survivor faced 11 years behind bars for singing hymns.

Data from Rep. Chip Roy's office shows 97% of all FACE Act prosecutions from 1994 to 2024 targeted pro-lifers.

Biden's DOJ filed 55 FACE Act cases during his administration.

Only five involved attacks on pregnancy centers despite nearly 100 firebombings and vandalism incidents against pro-life organizations.

FBI Director Christopher Wray admitted 70% of abortion-related violence targeted pro-lifers.

Biden ignored it all.

His Justice Department paired the FACE Act with "conspiracy against rights" charges carrying 10-year sentences.

They turned peaceful prayer into federal crimes while violent leftists who attacked churches walked free.

Trump pardoned all 23 pro-life prisoners on his first day back in office.

DOJ Investigation Launched After Anti-ICE Protesters Disrupt Cities Church St. Paul Worship Service

On Sunday morning, approximately 30-40 anti-ICE agitators stormed Cities Church in St. Paul during worship services.

They burst into the sanctuary chanting "Justice for Renee Good" and "ICE out of Minnesota."

The mob targeted the church because one of its pastors, David Easterwood, serves as acting director of ICE's St. Paul field office.

Protesters blew whistles and disrupted families trying to worship.

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon showed up with cameras to livestream the whole thing.

He lectured the church's senior pastor Jonathan Parnell about First Amendment rights to protest.

Parnell called the disruption "shameful" and asked Lemon to leave unless he was there to worship.

DOJ senior advisor Alina Habba appeared on Fox & Friends Monday morning.

She announced the department launched an investigation under the very law Biden weaponized.

"The FACE Act is a long-standing federal statute that prohibits force, threats, obstruction, any kind of interference with a religious place of worship," Habba explained.

"And it carries criminal penalties and violations."

Attorney General Pam Bondi Vows FACE Act Charges Against Minnesota Church Protesters

When asked whether DOJ would investigate protesters or Democrat officials who enabled them, Habba's answer was simple.

"Everybody."

Attorney General Pam Bondi spoke directly with Pastor Parnell after the incident.

"Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law," Bondi stated.

Habba made clear this administration won't tolerate what Biden ignored.

"Pam is making that very clear," Habba said.

"It's just not going to happen in this administration."

Bondi also warned she'll investigate who's funding these mobs.

"If you are funding mass protests, if you are having protests that are not righteous protests — there are First Amendment rights that we respect — but that are putting people in risk, not allowing people to go to church, this Department of Justice will come down on you," Bondi announced.

Biden FACE Act Prosecutions Targeted Pro-Life Christians While Ignoring 436 Church Attacks

The FACE Act passed in 1994 supposedly protected both abortion clinics and houses of worship.

Biden used it exclusively as a weapon against Christians.

Trump's DOJ already filed the first-ever FACE Act lawsuit protecting a synagogue in September 2025.

That case involved violent pro-Palestinian protesters who stormed Congregation Ohr Torah in New Jersey during a religious memorial service.

The mob placed a Jewish worshiper in a chokehold for over 20 seconds.

They blew vuvuzelas inches from congregants' ears and deployed stink bombs.

Protesters shouted "You're next!" while trying to prevent Jews from worshipping.

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon announced the Trump DOJ would use the FACE Act "in all of its intended applications."

That includes abortion clinics, pregnancy centers, and for the first time ever, actual houses of worship.

Biden spent 436 church attacks in 2024 without a single FACE Act prosecution.

Biden's DOJ brought zero cases against the nearly 100 attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers after the Dobbs decision leak.

Meanwhile, peaceful pro-lifers got the book thrown at them.

Paul Vaughn faced a terrifying FBI raid at his Tennessee home for praying at an abortion clinic.

He's now a convicted felon who lost his right to vote and own firearms despite escaping prison time.

Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly sentenced pro-lifers like a Bolshevik judge at a Stalin show trial.

The bias was unmistakable.

Renee Good Shooting Sparked Anti-ICE Violence That Now Faces Federal FACE Act Charges

The Cities Church disruption fits a pattern of escalating anti-ICE violence in Minnesota.

Renee Nicole Good was shot January 7 after trying to run over an ICE agent during an arrest operation.

Her death sparked protests that turned into riots.

Federal agents face 1,347% increase in assaults since Trump's deportation operations began.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey admitted ICE agents "drastically outnumber" his police force and "have bigger guns."

He's been defending the protesters instead of maintaining order.

Governor Tim Walz stood by while mobs hunted federal law enforcement officers from hotel to hotel.

ICE posted on social media: "Agitators aren't just targeting our officers. Now they're targeting churches, too. They're going from hotel to hotel, church to church, hunting for federal law enforcement who are risking their lives to protect Americans."

Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act if Minnesota officials don't restore order.

Now the DOJ is investigating everyone involved in Sunday's church disruption.

That includes protesters, organizers, and potentially the state officials who enabled the lawlessness.

The Trump administration reversed Biden's FACE Act memo in January 2025.

The new policy limits prosecutions to cases involving extreme violence.

But disrupting worship services qualifies.

Biden used the FACE Act to terrorize peaceful Christians for four years.

Bondi just sent a message that weapon cuts both ways.

And this time it's actually being used to protect religious liberty like Congress intended.
