Donald Trump named Tulsi Gabbard as his nominee to serve as the Director of National Intelligence.
That pick enraged the Swamp.
And Adam Schiff declared war on Tulsi Gabbard for this sick reason.
Adam Schiff smears Tulsi Gabbard
Democrats and the media have been smearing Tulsi Gabbard as a Russian asset ever since she didn’t support Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign because Gabbard opposed Clinton’s push for war with Russia over Syria.
This is the same falsehood they hurled at Donald Trump.
Adam Schiff amplified the Big Lie in a post on social media falsely claiming Gabbard – who still maintains the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States military – can’t be trusted with the nation’s secrets.
“Tulsi Gabbard combines a lack of experience with poor judgment, not a good combination in someone who would lead our intelligence agencies. If our allies don’t believe she can be trusted with intelligence, they will stop sharing. And the American people will be less safe,” Schiff posted on X.
Adam Schiff is no stranger to spreading the Big Lie about Russia.
Schiff is preying on the fact that the media will gladly call anyone who opposes endless foreign wars a Russian stooge.
And since Gabbard opposes Joe Biden’s war in Ukraine it’s easy for Schiff to get his allies in the press to amplify this lie.
The real reason Schiff and the Swamp oppose Gabbard’s nomination
In 2016, disgraced former FBI Director James Comey tricked a FISA court into approving a warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page using the hoax Christopher Steele dossier.
Section 702 of the FISA Act – which Comey used to illegally spy on Trump by using unvetted information – is up for renewal in 2026.
And the Swamp fears Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence will serve as an ally in Trump’s stated goal of ending unconstitutional domestic spying.
“The bureau might also be checked in other ways. Mr. Trump and Ms. Gabbard are both opposed to Section 702 of the Foreign Surveillance Intelligence (FISA) Act, which authorizes electronic surveillance on American soil. It was renewed this year after a fierce debate in the Senate but will lapse in 2026,” the Economist reported.
Gabbard is a longtime critic of the warrantless domestic spying written into the so-called “PATRIOT” Act.
“The [FISA] court has proven to be a dependable rubber stamp for government requests,” Gabbard correctly noted.
The FISA court rarely turns down spying requests from the government.
And the fact that the FBI used a dossier it knew wasn’t confirmed to spy on Trump shows just how out of control this whole process is.
But the Swamp never cedes power willingly.
And the lengths to which Schiff and other Swamp creatures will go to smear a patriot and decorated veteran like Tulsi Gabbard to preserve unconstitutional domestic spying is an eye-opener for many Americans.
