Most Americans agree that world hunger is a major problem facing the planet.
But the Left’s solution to feeding the entire globe is insane.
And actor Nicholas Cage caught everyone by surprise with this sick plan to end world hunger.
The Democrats and radical Left frequently use climate change as an excuse to try and gain more control over the American people.
This includes controlling what Americans are allowed to eat.
According to radical environmentalists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, since cow farts are contributing significantly to the rise in CO2, Americans should replace beef with foods that are more “green” friendly.
Billionaire Bill Gates is invested in alternative meat companies and promised Americans that in the future “you’re not going to eat meat anymore.”
According to the elites at the World Economic Forum, people must stop eating meat and switch to grains, seaweed, algae, cacti, avocado seeds, and other “climate beneficial foods” in order to save the planet from destruction.
“If a billion people stop eating meat, I tell you, it has a big impact,” Jim Hagemann Snabe, the chairman of German manufacturer Siemens, said at the conference. “I predict we will have proteins not coming from meat in the future, they will probably taste even better,” he continued, before adding that “they will be zero carbon and much healthier than the kind of food we eat today, that is the mission we need to get on.”
Of course, Snabe is referring to forcing humans to eat bugs instead of beef and other meats.
But it’s not just the globalists at the WEF pushing humans to eat bugs.
During an interview with Yahoo, actor Nicolas Cage recently said that eating bugs would be the best way to end world hunger.
“Cage does have a modest proposal for how the global food problem could be solved if we all got over our distaste for chomping on insects,” Yahoo reported.
“If you could get rid of your fear, your phobia of eating insects, you could solve world starvation,” Cage said. “High protein, no fat, excellent nutrients, abundance,” he continued, before adding that “they’re everywhere!”
However, Cage conceded that it’s “not gonna happen” since most people are disgusted by the thought of eating bugs.
But radical environmentalists are determined to cut meat consumption by 90 percent and force Americans to eat bugs and other “climate friendly” foods.
