Eventually, the American people stopped watching new movies out of disgust with the woke nonsense.
Once-popular shows like the Oscars and Grammy Awards even failed to attract large audiences due to the actors using their speeches to push the Left’s agenda.
But not everyone in Hollywood went full-on woke.
And Americans are rewarding those who reject the woke agenda with box-office success.
John Wick: Chapter 4, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and Top Gun: Maverick are a few non-woke movies to enjoy box-office success over the past year.
But The Super Mario Bros. Movie featuring Chris Pratt’s voice is the latest non-woke movie to crush box-office expectations.
Pratt is the voice for Mario in the animated film, which brought in a whopping $204.6 million during its opening weekend after experts predicted it would only bring in $125 million.
In a post on Instagram, Pratt showed his appreciation in a way that left his fans smiling.
“Thank you to everyone who checked out The Super Mario Bros. Movie this weekend!” Pratt wrote in a post that included several photos. “If you haven’t yet, do!”
One photo showed Pratt holding a cute baby goat.
“To celebrate I held a baby goat, caught a couple bass, found a blacktail shed, drank some coffee and hung out with my bro in the A- frame he and his girlfriend Lindsay refurbished, got teased because Lindsay actually found the shed not me but I took a picture like I found it,” Pratt wrote. “Am I jealous? Yes. But would I tell her that? No.”
He ended the post with a Bible verse.
“Psalm 23 ‘He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me to still water,’” Pratt wrote.
