Democrats used to argue for “safe, legal, and rare” access to abortion for women.
But that is no longer the case.
And a top White House official just confirmed one sick belief Joe Biden has about restrictions on abortions.
Midterm elections have always served as a referendum on the President’s political Party.
After Joe Biden’s string of failures driving his approval ratings to all-time lows, Democrats thought the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade would allow them to make abortion the top issue for voters in November.
Instead of discussing real issues facing voters, Democrat candidates went all-in on making abortion-on-demand the law of the land in America, with the Party even spending more than $100 million on pro-abortion messaging.
But despite their $100 million ad blitz, polls show that only 5 percent of voters list abortion as a top issue for determining how they will vote.
Inflation and the economy continue to top the list in poll after poll.
But even if abortion was a top issue for voters, it wouldn’t help the Democrat Party given their radical views on the issue.
Polls show 80 percent of Americans oppose the Democrats’ position of unrestricted access to abortions up until the moment of birth.
But the Biden administration continues to remind Americans of their disgusting views on abortion.
On Tuesday, White House Office of Public Engagement Director Keisha Lance Bottoms appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to answer questions on whether President Joe Biden believes there should be any restrictions on abortion, even if it’s 30 weeks into the pregnancy.
“Some of the candidates out on the trail, even in the last few days, Democrats have been asked if they support abortion without limits, and some have said yes,” co-host Willie Geist began. “If you look at the polling, that is an extreme position,” he continued, before asking Bottoms “does the President, the White House, believe there should be abortion available without limits in the country?”
“What the President believes is that there should be a fundamental right for a woman to choose what to do with her own body and the President has said this time and time again, that there are basic, fundamental rights, access to health care, this access to health care includes women across this country,” Bottoms replied.
But Geist refused to let Bottoms off the hook without answering the question directly.
“So, does that mean the President supports abortion at any time during the pregnancy, whether it’s 3 weeks or 30 weeks?” he fired back.
“What the President has said very publicly is that he supports a woman’s right to choose,” Bottoms answered. “I’ve never heard the President give a timeframe on that,” she continued, adding that “he has said that he believes that a woman has a fundamental right to make decisions about her own body and her healthcare choices.”
There’s less than three weeks until the elections.
Americans are deeply concerned about the economy and inflation.
But Joe Biden and the Democrats keep ignoring the real issues in order to push their pro-abortion until birth agenda.
And Democrats are going to pay a price for it in the form of losing the House and Senate in the Midterms.
