Joe Biden and the Democrats are always looking to seize more power and gain more control over the American people.
Gas stoves are their latest target.
And a top Republican Senator went on Fox News and exposed the real endgame of Joe Biden’s war on gas stoves.
According to a report released this week, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. said the Biden administration is considering a ban on gas stoves due to concerns about alleged harmful air pollutants released from the appliances.
“Any option is on the table,” Trumka said in an interview with Bloomberg, “Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”
He also said the agency would consider placing emissions standards on gas stoves if they are prohibited from banning the manufacturing or importation of them.
The American people and some members of Congress reacted to the news with outrage.
“Over 40 million American households use gas stoves,” Gary Palmer (R-AL) tweeted in response to Trumka’s idea. “This type of power should never have been given to unelected bureaucrats and it is time for it to end.”
“I’ll NEVER give up my gas stove,” Dr. Ronny Jackon (R-TX) tweeted. “If the maniacs in the White House come for my stove, they can pry it from my cold dead hands,” he continued, before adding “COME AND TAKE IT!”
But one top Republican Senator has a different take on Joe Biden’s war on gas stoves.
During an interview on Fox Business Network’s Cavuto: Coast to Coast, Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy said the restrictions on gas stoves are “really a backdoor way to go after natural gas.”
“This is really a backdoor way to go after natural gas,” Cassidy said. “This is their kind of, what can we do to inhibit the role of natural gas in our economy?”
Cassidy pointed out how natural gas helped America “decrease emissions down to less than the emissions we had in 2005, despite a bigger economy, more people, and more manufacturing.”
He also mocked Joe Biden for going after fossil fuel when they “can’t control the border” and “they can’t take care of the airplanes.”
Cassidy predicted that the move will “damage the rest of the economy.”
And as Cassidy noted, “but I’m not sure they care.”
