Even though he’s 79 years old, Hollywood star Robert De Niro continues to work as a producer and an actor.
But that’s not all De Niro is still doing at 79.
And a reporter’s jaw hit the floor when Robert De Niro revealed one wild secret about his children.
Robert De Niro is considered by many as one of the greatest actors of all time.
Even though De Niro’s career began in the mid 1960s, he entered the national spotlight with his 1974 role in The Godfather Part II, where he played the young Vito Corleone.
Since then, De Niro has appeared in dozens of films and won numerous awards for his acting performances.
Of course, De Niro is also one of the most anti-Trump voices in all of Hollywood.
During the 2018 Tony Awards, De Niro hurled obscenities at then-President Trump.
“F*** Trump!” he shouted from the podium multiple times.
“It’s no longer ‘down with Trump,’” he continued, before adding that “it’s ‘f*ck Trump.’”
De Niro is currently working on a movie titled About My Father.
And he recently sat down for an interview with ET Canada to discuss the upcoming movie.
Interviewer Brittnee Blair asked De Niro to chat about fatherhood since that’s the topic of the comedy he’s working on.
“I mean, there’s no way around it with kids,” he said when asked about being stern to his children. “I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that,” he continued, before adding, “but, [sometimes] you just have no choice.”
“And any parent, I think, would say the same thing,” De Niro continued. “You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
Blair asked De Niro if he was a “cool” father.
“I’m okay,” he said. “You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful. My daughter, she’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is.”
De Niro has been married twice and shares two children with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott.
He also has two children with his ex-wife, Grace Hightower, as well as two children with a former girlfriend, Toukie Smith.
Blair then brought up his children.
“I know you have six kids,” Blair said to De Niro.
However, De Niro corrected her and said, “seven, actually.”
“I just had a baby,” the 79-year-old told the stunned host.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed by De Niro, according to Fox News, “Robert De Niro’s co-star Kim Cattrall revealed the woman the Taxi Driver star recently welcomed his seventh child with —Tiffany Chen.”
De Niro may be 79 years old.
But he’s still producing movies and apparently making babies despite his age.
