Republicans are back in power in the House of Representatives.

New Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is delivering on a campaign promise by booting a trio of far-left Democrats off of their Congressional committees.
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took the unprecedented action of throwing a pair of America First conservatives off all of their committees in the last session of Congress.
Democrats removed Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) from all over their committees on bogus claims that they were inciting violence with their actions.
The move was a transparent attempt to intimidate a pair of the most outspoken pro-Trump conservatives in the House.
Now McCarthy is throwing Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) off of the House Intelligence Committee.
The Speaker cited Swalwell’s inability to get a security clearance because of his intimate relationship with a female Chinese spy and Schiff’s repeated lies during the Russia Collusion Hoax.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) top lieutenant in the “Squad,” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is getting removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee for her rabid anti-Semitism and frequent attacks against Israel.
House rules allow the Speaker to block Swalwell and Schiff from serving on the House Intelligence Committee.
Removing Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee would require a full vote of the House, where Republicans have a narrow majority.
Two RINOs in the House are stabbing conservatives in the back to stand with Ilhan Omar and the “Squad.”
Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) announced that she was opposing McCarthy’s effort and voting to keep Omar on the committee.
“Two wrongs do not make a right. Speaker Pelosi took unprecedented actions last Congress to remove Reps. Greene and Gosar from their committees without proper due process,” Spartz wrote in a statement. “Speaker McCarthy is taking unprecedented actions this Congress to deny some committee assignments to the Minority without proper due process again.”
Spartz’s argument is illogical because Pelosi set the precedent of removing members from their committee.
If Pelosi set the precedent, then McCarthy’s actions against Omar wouldn’t be “unprecedented,” he would be following her precedent.
“As I spoke against it on the House floor two years ago, I will not support this charade again,” Spartz continued. “Speaker McCarthy needs to stop ‘bread and circuses’ in Congress and start governing for a change.”
Spartz is using an illogical excuse to protect one of the most extreme members of the “Squad.”
She was joined by another RINO, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) who announced she was also opposed to removing Omar.
This makes removing Omar from the committee a dicey situation.
Since her removal requires a full house vote, Republicans can only afford to lose four votes if every Democrat votes in favor of Omar.
Despite the betrayal, Kevin McCarthy said he was confident that he would get the votes to remove Omar from the committee.
