Attorney General Merrick Garland is Joe Biden’s top hatchet man.
He’s dropping the hammer on anyone who gets in his way.
And a pair of Republicans put Merrick Garland on notice over this bone-chilling retaliation.
The FBI is acting as enforcers for the Democrat Party with their blatant targeting of political opponents of the Biden regime.
After crossing a major red line, FBI whistleblowers are coming forward to call out the bureau’s rogue leadership.
The FBI is ignoring actual criminal investigations like child sex trafficking to use the trumped-up events of January 6 to carry out a political witch hunt.
FBI Special Agent Stephen Friend came forward as a whistleblower with a claim the FBI used “manipulative casefile practice” related to January 6 cases that “creates false and misleading crime statistics.”
“Instead of hundreds of investigations stemming from an isolated incident at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, FBI and DOJ officials point to significant increases in domestic violent extremism and terrorism around the United States,” Friend said.
Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Justice Department has been hyping “domestic violent extremism” as a flimsy pretext to target Trump supporters.
Friend took a stand against the FBI leadership’s abuse of power telling them he “would not participate” in January 6 cases.
The FBI dropped the hammer on Friend, suspending him over his decision to speak up about the manipulation of January 6 cases.
Now, a pair of Republican Senators are accusing the FBI of whistleblower retaliation over their decision to suspend Friend.
Senators Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) are two of the leading Republicans working with the growing number of FBI whistleblowers.
The Republican Senators sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Merrick Garland claiming the FBI was wrong in punishing Friend for speaking out.
“Rather than reassigning Special Agent Friend other tasks as he requested, FBI leadership apparently made the choice to retaliate against and make an example of him,” the letter stated.
“FBI leadership suspended Special Agent Friend without pay, and suspended his security clearance without providing any evidence that he poses a legitimate security risk,” the Senators wrote. “They also confiscated his credentials, firearm, and badge, and escorted him out of the FBI field office.”
Instead of honoring Friend’s request, the FBI removed a potential problem for their rogue leadership.
“The alleged actions by FBI senior leadership are unacceptable and send exactly the wrong message,” they continued. “The FBI should never suspend security clearances as a form of punishment or to retaliate against patriotic whistleblowers for stepping forward to report potential wrongdoing.”
Friend made the disturbing allegation that the FBI was dropping investigations into child sex trafficking to prioritize January 6 cases.
“I was told that child sexual abuse material investigations were no longer an FBI priority and should be referred to local law enforcement agencies,” Friend said in his whistleblower report.
With a growing number of whistleblowers coming forward, the FBI leadership’s problems are piling up.
