A leading Republican is sounding the alarm on this career-defining failure by Joe Biden

Joe Biden is a catastrophe for the country.

He’s on the verge of one his biggest disasters to date.

Now a leading Republican is sounding the alarm on this career-defining failure by Joe Biden.

Under former President Barack Obama, Islamic terrorist groups like ISIS wreaked havoc across the globe.

Donald Trump came into office and dropped the hammer on ISIS, putting a lid on Islamic terrorism during his Presidency.

But with Joe Biden occupying the White House, the threat of Islamic terrorism could be on the rise again.

After Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Taliban is aiding and abetting a return of major Islamic terrorist groups into the country.

Even worse, Biden gift-wrapped the Taliban, and potentially terrorists, billions of dollars of advanced American weaponry during the disastrous withdrawal.

Now Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee are sounding the alarm on a “reconstitution” of ISIS and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan after Biden’s “unconditional withdrawal” last August.

In a new 115-page report entitled “‘A Strategic Failure’; Assessing the Administration’s Afghanistan Withdrawal,” House Republicans outlined the growing threat of Islamic groups in the country.

“Following the unconditional withdrawal, the committee minority also believes Afghanistan has once again become a safe haven for terrorist entities,” the report warned.

“The unconditional military withdrawal and the simultaneous end of the American diplomatic presence in Kabul would leave the U.S. government without a counterterrorism partner in an Afghanistan now awash with militants and terrorists — many released from prison by the Taliban,” the report continued.

During the chaotic withdrawal, jailed Islamic terrorists were freed by the Taliban as they took over the country after the Biden regime had no plan in place to deal with the situation.

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX), the ranking Republican on the committee, said the drone strike that killed al-Qaeda chief Ayman al Zawahiri in the home of a top Taliban official proves that terrorism is on the rise in Afghanistan.

“The American people have seen proof of al-Qaeda’s presence in Afghanistan: Ayman al Zawahiri was found living freely in downtown Kabul in a home reportedly owned by a member of the Haqqani network, the members of which occupy senior positions in the new Taliban regime,” the report stated.

The Haqqani network is an Islamic terrorist group with connections to al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

“Thankfully al Zawahiri was killed in a U.S. drone strike last month but officials warn that al-Qaeda and ISIS-K continue to grow their presence in Afghanistan,” the report said.

The Republican officials pointed to a report from “senior U.S. commanders have said the two terror groups could reconstitute and target the United States as early as six months following the date of the withdrawal.”

Even the globalists at the U.N. are hitting the panic button on Afghanistan saying “terrorist groups enjoy greater freedom there than at any time in recent history.”

Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan is setting the stage for a resurgence of Islamic terrorism.
