Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ alleged improper relationship created a major scandal.

It could cause her case against Donald Trump to collapse.

And a Judge handed down one ruling that left the Fulton County DA’s life in shambles.

The criminal case against former President Donald Trump and 14 co-defendants in Georgia for challenging the state’s 2020 Election results was upended by a bombshell allegation against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

An attorney for co-defendant Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign staffer and White House aide, alleged that Willis paid her romantic partner, attorney Nathan Wade, more than $600,000 to work as a special prosecutor on the Trump case despite being vastly unqualified.

Wade used the money that he was paid by Willis to take the pair on luxury vacations according to credit card statements.

He started divorce proceedings with his now estranged wife, Jocelyn Wade, a day after Willis hired him as special prosecutor.

The Judge presiding over Wade’s divorce case issued a ruling that spells big trouble for the Fulton County DA.

Cobb County Superior Court Judge Henry Thompson ruled that records in Wade’s divorce case would be unsealed.

Roman’s attorney Ashleigh Merchant had asked the Judge to vacate an order that kept them sealed.

Judge Thompson also heard arguments over whether a subpoena against Willis should be enforced in Wade’s divorce case.

Willis claimed that being forced to testify in the divorce case would interfere with her case against Trump.

“She’s not seeking protection,” Andrea Hastings, the attorney for Joycelyn Wade, said during the hearing. “She’s seeking prohibition of our ability to access facts.”

“She’s trying to hide under the shield of her position,” Hastings continued. “Whatever her job is has nothing to do with whether or not she should have to sit for this deposition.”

The Judge is deciding whether Willis has “unique personal knowledge” that would compel her testimony.

Willis is also facing a February hearing in Fulton County Superior Court to disqualify her from the Trump case over her improper relationship filed by Roman’s attorney.

The sealed records in the divorce case have already produced bombshell evidence of a relationship between Willis and Wade.

A leaked credit card statement of Nathan Wade’s from the sealed divorce records shows that he paid for two flights for Willis and for the pair to go on a Royal Caribbean cruise.

More evidence of their improper relationship could be revealed when all of the divorce records are unsealed.
