The Biden-Harris administration’s response to the hurricanes became its own disaster.

But the media is still trying to do damage control to help Kamala Harris.

And a journalist asked one bad question about FEMA to Donald Trump that he instantly regretted.

Journalist destroyed for trying to do damage control for FEMA

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) dropped the ball when Americans were in their hour of greatest need.

Hurricane Helene brought torrential rainfall to Western North Carolina, which created historic flooding that devastated the region.

FEMA officials were nowhere to be found in the aftermath while private citizens and charities rushed in to help storm victims.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told the country that FEMA was running out of money after the agency spent billions housing and transporting illegal aliens.

Democrats and their media allies have tried to shut down any criticism of FEMA by calling it misinformation.

Now, the media is pushing debunked stories that FEMA workers are under threat from a bunch of good old boys in North Carolina.

Former President Donald Trump traveled to Swannanoa, North Carolina to survey damage from Hurricane Helene.

A reporter tried to press him about criticisms of FEMA hurting the agency’s ability to do its job.

“FEMA had a safety standdown because of a credible threat. Is it helping the recovery effort in North Carolina to keep making these claims that FEMA’s not doing their job?” a reporter asked Trump.

“Well, I think you have to let people know how they’re doing,” Trump said. “If they were doing a great job, I think we should say that too because I think they should be rewarded . . . If they’re doing a poor job, we’re supposed to not say it?”

Trump noted that criticism of FEMA coming from North Carolina residents wasn’t politically motivated.

“If FEMA were doing well. They would be saying they did a good job,” Trump explained. “They’re not, for the most part, political people.”

“But you’ve obviously seen nothing but . . . very bad statements coming out about the job that FEMA and this administration has done having to do with this area, North Carolina as a whole,” Trump added.

Biden-Harris turns FEMA into an illegal alien slush fund

Trump noted that other states have complained about the response from FEMA after Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

“Look, a lot of the money is gone,” Trump said. “They don’t have any money.”

He warned that FEMA was going to be looking to Washington, D.C. for more money after squandering it on illegal aliens.

“It’s all gone. They’ve spent it on illegal migrants. Many of them are murderers. Many of them are drug dealers. Many of them come out of mental institutions and insane asylums, and many of them are terrorists. And they spend money to bring these people into our country and they don’t have money to take care of the people from North Carolina and other states,” Trump explained.

Trump said that if he couldn’t criticize FEMA, then the agency wouldn’t do a better job after the next disaster.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are putting Americans last to help illegal aliens.
