Rioters in Newark spent weeks calling ICE agents fascists.
Gregory Simmonds was off duty at a Florida pool when he saw something nobody else noticed.
What he did in the next ten seconds is the story sanctuary politicians hope you never hear.
A Florida Officer Becomes The Hero Sanctuary Politicians Pretend Doesn't Exist
He didn't call for a lifeguard.
He didn't wait for backup.
The 6-year-old girl was unconscious and alone in the water, and Simmonds went in after her with his clothes still on.
He carried her to the pool's edge and started CPR.
He kept working until she came back to consciousness.
ICE says she's expected to make a full recovery.
This is the same agency Senator Andy Kim got pepper-sprayed defending protesters against, the same agency Governor Mikie Sherrill won't give "a pretext" to operate in her state, and the same agency the mainstream media has spent a year painting as a gang of masked thugs terrorizing American streets.

Acting Assistant DHS Secretary Lauren Bis didn't waste the moment.
"This officer swiftly sprung to action and delivered life-saving medical care to this 6-year-old who drowned," Bis said. "Our agents truly are the best of the best. They put their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst. Instead of demonizing ICE law enforcement, sanctuary politicians should be thanking them for removing criminals from their communities."
Pasco County Sheriff's Office Cpl. J. Leathers backed that up directly, crediting Simmonds' "willingness to place himself into action during a critical incident" with the girl surviving.
Leathers called it "exceptional courage and selflessness."
Notice what's missing from that statement. No hedging. No "officials say."
Just a cop telling you another cop saved a little girl's life.
This Is Not The First Time, And Democrats Don't Want You To Know That
If you think Simmonds is some kind of fluke, the left needs you to keep thinking that.
Because this is now the third documented rescue by ICE personnel in months.
In March, an agent supporting TSA at JFK Airport in New York helped save a 1-year-old in the middle of a medical emergency after the father started screaming in the terminal.
Senator Markwayne Mullin, now running DHS, said the agent "sprang into action and saved [the child's] life."
In February, two off-duty ICE agents were eating dinner at a restaurant in Plymouth, Minnesota, when a panicked mother burst in screaming for help.

Her 4-year-old son had been underwater in a hotel pool for roughly five minutes.
The agents ran to the pool and started CPR before police even arrived.
Plymouth police later sent a formal letter crediting the agents, writing that without their "quick response and professional actions," the outcome "would have likely been tragic."
The boy woke up alert at the hospital.
Three rescues. Three different states. Three different kinds of victims – a toddler, a 4-year-old, a 6-year-old girl.
Zero coverage on the nightly news that matches the wall-to-wall footage of agitators throwing rocks at federal agents in Newark.
That's not an accident.
That's a choice newsrooms are making every single day.
The Same Week Rioters Were Biting ICE Agents, One Was Saving A Child's Life
Context matters here, and the timing makes this story sting even more for the people who've spent months calling these agents monsters.
Outside Delaney Hall in Newark, anti-ICE agitators have spent weeks hurling fireworks, gas canisters, and paving stones at federal agents and state troopers.
One rioter was federally charged for biting and kicking officers so badly that Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche posted photos of agents' bloodied wounds.
Border czar Tom Homan said many of the agitators were paid out-of-state activists with records at riots in Portland and Minneapolis.
These are the same agents national polling shows a majority of Americans now disapprove of – numbers driven almost entirely by media coverage obsessed with confrontation footage and silent on stories like Gregory Simmonds diving into a pool to save a stranger's daughter.
Ask yourself something simple.
Does Gregory Simmonds sound like a "fascist" to you, or like a man who put a stranger's daughter ahead of his own dry clothes on his day off?
Sanctuary politicians built an entire narrative on ICE agents being faceless enforcers with no humanity.
That narrative survives only as long as stories like this one stay buried.
Every time an agent dives into a pool, performs CPR on a tarmac, or saves a baby mid-seizure, the "ICE are monsters" script gets a little harder to sell.
Three rescues in under six months isn't luck.
It's training, instinct, and the kind of character the people protesting outside Delaney Hall will never give these agents credit for.
