A Fox News ally just made this outrageous claim about Trump on air he never saw coming

It’s not unusual to see your allies turn against you in politics, as Donald Trump is quickly learning.

President Trump and his base are upset.

Case in point, last week a Fox News ally made this outrageous claim about Trump on air that Trump never saw coming.

Brian Kilmeade, a long-time host on Fox and Friends, has always appeared to be in Trump’s corner regardless of the issue at hand.

Unfortunately for Trump, the tide seems to have turned, and many of his one-time allies are jumping ship.

In an interview following the protests on Capitol Hill last week, Kilmeade stated, “We can also say this about the President of the United States: He obviously believes with every fiber of his being that he won this election. The problem is his legal team hasn’t had any success at all proving that, which is why Richard Nixon of the 1960s folded his tent, why Al Gore made a speech and said ‘even though I think I won, it’s time for a peaceful transition of power.’”

Kilmeade went on to criticize the President and falsely claimed he incited the violence that unfolded at the Capitol that day.

The Fox and Friends host believes that the President’s call to his supporters telling them to gather at the Capitol and let their voices be heard was an invitation to violence.

Just mere hours after the protestors broke into Capitol Hill, Americans watched as Never-Trumpers, the Fake News Media, and the likes of Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, and Liz Cheney all raced to condemn President Trump for “inciting a riot.”

There should be no debate over whether or not the protestors who turned violent need to be condemned. Those who committed violent acts were wrong and should be held accountable.

However, Americans must not ignore the fact that President Trump called for peaceful protests and told his supporters to use the political process in his remarks.

During the rally, Trump explicitly stated, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Statements like Kilmeade’s just go to show that Fox News is quickly selling out to the radical Left.
