Now Washington state is preparing to take this disturbing idea to the next level with a bill passed by the state legislature.
Senate Bill 5599 passed the state legislature and is on its way to the desk of Democrat Governor Jay Inslee, who’s expected to sign it.
The bill is allegedly aimed at “protecting” transgender minors and minors seeking to change their genders.
Parents of children who are confused about their gender would have their rights stripped away under the bill.
The bill would allow for children to be taken away from their parents if they don’t sign off on life-altering medical treatments and hormones to attempt to change genders.
Licensed shelters hosting runaway children wouldn’t be required to notify their parents about where their kids are or “if there is a compelling reason not to, which includes a youth seeking protected health services.”
“Protected health services” according to the bill would include “gender-affirming care” or an abortion.
“Gender-affirming care” would be anything prescribed by a doctor to help a child with their gender transition.
“Gender affirming treatment can be prescribed to two-spirit, transgender, nonbinary, and other gender diverse individuals,” the bill said.
Shelters housing runaway children can contact the state’s Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) instead of their parents.
Currently under Washington state law, these shelters are required to notify parents when their children come into their care.
The bill legalizes the kidnapping of children who are confused about their gender if parents don’t consent to their children receiving ghastly medical treatments to change gender or get an abortion.
Democrats in Washington state stripped parents of a fundamental right in the name of protecting radical gender ideologies and abortion.
Parents in Washington could have no idea what happened to their children if they went missing because the state’s government is more interested in a political agenda.
Children who can’t legally consent to life-altering medical decisions can be manipulated by outside influences and their parents can’t intervene to stop them.
Republican State Senator John Braun unloaded on the terrifying bill.
“The only thing [the bill] would do is cause harm by driving a wedge between vulnerable kids and their parents, at a time when a teen lacks the perception and judgment to make critical life-altering decisions,” Braun said. “A parent may not even know why the child ran away and could involve law enforcement or other groups in a desperate search . . . all the while going through an unnecessary emotional nightmare, imagining the worst about what might have happened.”
